    摘要： Netting (15) includes mesh bars (26) made from twines (11, 13) which possess physical properties that vary, change or alternate along a series of collinear mesh bars (26). The non-homogeneous media obtained by arranging in this way mesh bars (26) having varying physical properties may be configured to dampen or attenuate vibrations in the netting (15) such as harmonic oscillations (resonance). Furthermore, twines (11, 13) that attenuate vibrations may be chosen that also reduce the amount of material required to make netting (15) which has strength similar to or greater than conventional machine-made netting (15). Due to reduced vibration, the improved netting (15) lasts longer than conventional machine-made netting (15), and reduces the possibility of injury to fish which escape through a trawl's mesh cell openings.

The refrigerator shelf liner system includes a rear member having a rear surface, a plurality of adhesive strips attached to the rear surface, a first arm and a second arm extending from the distal ends of the rear member, a cover attached to the rear member, and a roll of protective material rotatably retained between the arms. The adhesive strips secure the rear member to the interior wall of a refrigerator above a shelf to be protected by a sheet dispensed from the roll. The roll preferably contains a plurality of protective sheets separated by a line of perforations.

Prior to the knitted fabric being forked, a pair of right and left widening stitch loops that confront each other across the forked portion are formed at the back side of the knitted fabric during a course knitting of the knitted fabric, first, and, then, two groups of stitch loops, consisting of a pair of right and left stitch loops that are formed at a front side of the knitted fabric and confront each other across the forked portion and a pair of right and left widening stitch loops that are newly formed, are crossed to each other across a boundary of the forked portion. This can provide enhanced strength for the forked portion without impairing the appearance of the knitted fabric.
