摘要： A spring tension system for a floor tile has spring loop with a base portion and a hoop portion. The base portion has two arms extending outwardly at a first angle from a center-point which together to form the hoop portion. The spring loop is formed into a first side of a first floor tile. A tapered recess is formed into a second side of a second floor tile. The tapered recess includes an opening which forms two tapered walls which extend inwardly toward a center of the second floor tile at a second angle. The second angle is smaller than the first angle. The spring loop formed into the first side of the first floor tile is received into the tapered recess formed into the second side of the second floor tile, the spring loop contacting the walls of the tapered recess to form a friction fit.

摘要： Various monolithic pavers are one-piece pavers with no seams, joints, or connections. A monolithic paver can be formed via three dimensional (3D) printing or molding. The monolithic paver is designed to carry applied loads to paver support(s) via structural members of the monolithic paver. The monolithic paver is formed to include parallel structural members that are spaced with gaps there between. The parallel structural members include top flanges and webs. The parallel structural members can also include bottom flanges. Moreover, the monolithic paver can have exterior sides that have tongues and grooves formed there along; tongues can be formed along adjoining exterior sides of the monolithic paver.

摘要： A tactile plate assembly used as a tactile warning device on walkways comprises a plurality of tactile plates with texture for providing tactile awareness. A connecting bracket attaches first and second tactile plates to each other to form a pair of tactile plates. Interlocking brackets, having first and second ends, attach two pairs of tactile plates together, forming a tactile plate subassembly. The interlocking brackets each includes a first end with a tab extending at an angle and a second end with a hole. The interlocking brackets can mate with one another to allow connection of multiple tactile plate subassemblies together. The interlocking brackets include multiple holes of sufficient size to allow a substrate such as concrete or asphalt to flow therethrough to anchor the tactile plate assembly in place. The connecting brackets may also include similar holes of sufficient size to allow a substrate to flow therethrough.

摘要： A system for constructing a load bearing surface includes a plurality of modular ground covering panels. Along at least one first side edge of each of the panels, the lower surface projects beyond the upper surface to define a lower peripheral tab. Along at least one second side edge of each of the panels, the upper surface projects beyond the lower surface to define an upper peripheral tab. The lower peripheral tab of one of the panels and the upper peripheral tab of another one of the panels overlappingly engage so that the upper surfaces of the panels are in adjoining relation to form the load bearing surface. A connector assembly includes a first connection element fixed to the lower peripheral tab, and a second connection element that releasably fastens the upper peripheral tab to the first connection element to secure the panels together.

摘要： Portable sectionalized flooring suitable for a basketball court or the like is assembled from a plurality of separate floor sections arranged in rows with each section composed of interengaged tongue and groove strips defining the floor surface, spaced stringers extending transversely of such strips and an underlayment interposed between the strips and stringers. Each section has at least one end provided with projecting fingers defined by selected strips projecting beyond strips intermediate to these selected strips for the fingers on adjoining section ends to interdigitate and thereby form interlocking finger joints. Groups of the sections are of different lengths to be assembled in rows with the interlocking finger joints of adjacent rows being staggered and latch devices are provided to interlock adjoining floor sections within each row and adjacent rows within the sectionalized flooring area.

摘要： Platform paddle tennis court including suitable base support structure, marginal enclosing taut screening and a platform deck. This deck may be made up of a plurality of parallel, hollow deck panels extending in one of the directions of transversely and longitudinally of the usual court area and defining at least one section or one of a plurality of sections, which may constitute a deck portion margined on one side by the central transverse net line. Each deck panel is substantially rectangular in cross section and defined by lateral top and bottom sheets and laterally-spaced upright side sheets of heat transfer material successively connected together along meeting corners thereof in substantially fluid-tight joints for defining together an elongated, hollow, tubular duct-defining interior. A plurality of flow passage defining conduits are mounted transversely and laterally below the deck panels in appreciably spaced relation relative to the lengths of said tubular ducts with each constituting a heating fluid manifold. A heating fluid source is provided to supply to the flow passages of at least some of the transverse manifold conduits flowing heating fluid and to conduct away therefrom such flowing heating fluid. Structure defines communicative passages between the flow passage interiors of the duct-defining panels and manifold conduits whereby such heating fluid may be circulated substantially throughout the deck panel interiors for heating the lateral top sheets of these panels.
