摘要： An improvement to raise the efficiency of a reciprocating refrigeration compressor, the improvement comprising a channel in the piston that transfers pressure from the clearance volume of the cylinder to the low pressure side of the piston when an opening of the channel aligns with a groove or a duct in the cylinder wall. Alternately, the channel comprises a ball extending from and held to the clearance volume opening of the channel by a spring. When the spring is compressed, the ball is moved from the opening, and pressure in the clearance volume is transferred to the low pressure side of the piston.

摘要： A self-lubricating water-cooled piston-style water pump has a unitary pump housing with a crankcase in direct water communication with the water pump inlet. A low pressure chamber is in direct water communication with the crankcase. A compression chamber is in direct pressurized water communication with a high pressure water manifold through a one-way valve. A high pressure water pump outlet extends outwardly from the manifold to the exterior of the housing. A crankshaft is connected to a connecting rod and a plunger rod, both of which are lubricated and water-cooled in the crankcase. A compression plunger has water channels therethrough connected to the plunger rod and in water communication with the low pressure chamber. The plunger is reciprocal within the compression chamber. A second one-way valve is on the plunger in the compression chamber to let water into the compression chamber.

A flange is fixed to the pump and tappet body and the tappet arm extends through the flange, so that the piston and the tappet are at opposite respective sides of the flange, and the flange is in sealing relationship with the tappet arm so that passage of fuel from the piston side of the flange to the tappet side of the flange is inhibited.

The piston includes a second cylinder portion within which is guided over a fixed mounted inverse piston. The inverse piston includes an inverse piston flow channel with an outlet valve in fluid communication with a volume within the second cylinder portion. Alternative embodiments include a piston with interior cylinders where the piston is guided over the two inverse pistons.

摘要： The invention relates to a metering pump for feeding out viscous materials, which pump comprises a housing having an inlet, connectable to a viscous material source, and an outlet; a valve body of cylindrical basic shape, which is rotatable into at least two positions by means of a drive unit, a first position allowing a flow of the said material from the inlet to the housing and a second position allowing a flow of the said material from the housing to the outlet. The pump also comprises a cylinder device connected to the housing, having a controllable piston intended to achieve the said flow of material, and at least one device for cleaning the metering pump. The said cleaning device comprises at least one nozzle for cleaning agent, disposed in a valve-body-facing part of the piston. The invention also relates to a method for cleaning such a metering pump.
