    摘要: A system of harvesting electrical power for use within a battery operated device includes a battery and a motor driven by the battery to impart rotational energy to a first shaft. The first shaft drives a multi-phase generator and produces output voltage signals with respectively untimed phase responses. A rectification circuit combines the voltage signals into a combined DC voltage output, and an inverter connected to the rectification circuit converts the DC voltage output to an AC voltage output. A battery charger connected to the inverter receives the AC voltage output for charging the battery. The harvested power includes power from voltage sources with unregulated, or untimed, phase responses.

    摘要: A density engine includes an object movably positioned in a host liquid, the object having a density less than that of host liquid. An injector injects gas below the object creating a rising fluid region having a density less than that of the object. The object is not buoyant in the rising fluid region. An electrical generator is coupled to the object to generate electrical energy upon movement of the object. A biofuel production facility receives gas from the density engine and produces a biofuel through a biological process of a living organism that utilizes the gas. A consolidated energy production and storage system includes a gas sequestration facility, a density engine, and a biofuel production facility located together on a contiguous plot of land. Windmills and solar collectors may be located on the plot of land.

    摘要: An air freshener with customizable fragrances is disclosed. The air freshener accepts a plurality of fragrance modules, which allow a user to create customized fragrant environments. A fan and/or heating element are included to increase fragrance dispersal. Additional components may be included into the air freshener to provide enhancements to the user experience, including but not limited to a clock, timer, or a music player. The air freshener obtains power from a number of sources, such as AC mains or DC batteries. Energy storage devices located on board the air freshener may be charged by inductive or solar power. The air freshener may also include lighting elements and styling cues to integrate into the local environment.

The curvature of the first support element's curved surface is such that during erection of the tower segment the tower segment erection tool rolls about the curved surface until the foot of the second support element touches the ground.

    摘要: A WEC system embodying the invention includes a column and shell, arranged to move relative to each other, and a lever-like apparatus having an input end and an output end and an intermediate point, between the two ends, the intermediate point being rotatably connected to the column. The input end is connected to the shell and moves at the same velocity and in the same direction as the shell. The output end moves in the opposite direction and at a rate which is a multiple of the shell velocity. The multiple being a function of the ratio of the length of the intermediate point to the output and input ends. In systems embodying the invention, one of two components (a PMA or an ICA) of a linear electric generator may be attached to the shell and the other of the two components may be attached to the output end of the lever-like apparatus to produce high relative velocity between the two components resulting in higher amplitude and higher frequency output voltages.
