    摘要: A five-way valve embodying a cylindrical body with valve seats and cooperating valve discs operable by a stem and having associated inlet and outlet ports. The stem is actuatable by pistons in the cylindrical body. The pistons are driven by pressure under the control of three-way valves. The valve structure is adaptable for use in a swimming pool heating system having a primary pool heater and also a solar heater. The water is circulated by a pump pumping through a filter. The three-way valves are controlled in response to a thermostat responsive to temperature at the solar heater. The three-way valves respond to water pressure differential as between the upstream and downstream sides of the pump in the system.

    摘要: An environment heating and cooling system comprising a solar collector, heat storage ground well, cold storage ground well and a heat exchange apparatus. Water from a cold storage ground well is heated in the heat exchange apparatus by solar heating fluid heated in a solar collector. The heated water is stored in a heat storage ground well. Water from the heat storage ground well heats the ambient environment when the solar collector requires supplementation. Water from the cold storage ground well is used to cool the ambient environment. In addition, water from both ground wells serves ordinary household purposes as drinking, bathing and the like.

    摘要: Provided here is a system and method for harnessing geothermal energy for generation of electricity by using complete closed loop heat exchange systems combined with onboard drilling apparatus. The system includes several devices operating separately in many different applications in energy sectors, including Self Contained In-Ground Geothermal Generator; the Self Contained Heat Exchanger; the In-Line-Pump/Generator; and preeminent drilling system for drilling wider and deeper wellbores. The system can be used for harnessing heat from accessible lava flows; harnessing the waste heat from the flame on top of flares stacks and similar cases. Also, included is an architectural solution for the restoration of the terminal lake, the Salton Sea, an area of prevalent geothermal sources, including dividing lake in three sections and importing seawater in central section with pipeline system; providing condition for tourism; treating farmland runoff waters; generating electricity including solar energy; and producing potable water and lithium as byproducts.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing syngas by means of solar radiation, in which the reactor of a receiver-reactor is periodically heated via an aperture provided in the same for solar radiation by means of the solar radiation to an upper reduction temperature for a reduction process and subsequently cooled to a lower oxidation temperature for an oxidation process in the presence of an oxidation gas, wherein the sunlight is guided through an absorption chamber onto an absorber configured as a reactor, which includes a reducible/oxidizable material, and wherein a gas that absorbs the black-body radiation of the absorber is guided through the absorption chamber and the absorption chamber is configured so that the back radiation of the absorber through the aperture is essentially absorbed by the gas. Radiation losses caused by back radiation of the black-body radiation exiting the optical aperture are thus avoided in accordance with the invention. The heat of the back radiation, however, can be utilized directly in the heat-transporting fluid and is available for a flexible usage. The receiver-reactor has a simple design and is suitable as a low-cost receiver-reactor.
