摘要: Some embodiments are directed to a lockdown apparatus for facilitating initiation of lockdown procedures at a facility. The lockdown apparatus can include a combined actuator and image sensor assembly disposed at the facility that is configured to be recognizably distinguishable from a fire alarm actuator. The assembly can include a lockdown actuator configured to transmit a lockdown initiation signal upon being actuated, and an image sensor configured to capture at least one of a still image an a video image of a region proximate the assembly. The lockdown apparatus can also include a lockdown communicator configured to produce a lockdown initiation communication for communication initiation of lockdown procedures to the facility occupants and individuals not disposed proximate the facility upon transmission of the lockdown initiation signal, the lockdown initiation communication being recognizably distinguishable from a fire alarm communication.

摘要: Security systems for secured assets such as vehicles, are described in which facial recognition systems or other biometrics systems provide enhanced security for an authorized user. Subtle or covert cues provided by the user during authentication or subsequent monitoring of the user by the facial recognition system and other input systems are used to invoke user-editable personal security rules that respond to the cues to implement the user's desired responses for added security in various situations. Related security systems, methods, and devices are described to protect an asset such as an automobile or other vehicle or other secured asset through the use of biometrics and personal security rules. In such systems, a training module may provide periodic training and practice sessions to assist the user in being prepared to properly use the personal rules system in response to various scenarios and threats, and can guide adjustment of personal rules for better success.

摘要: A method and system for expediting the rescue of victims experiencing sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) when used in conjunction with an automated external defibrillator (AED). The system involves an apparatus that calls for help (i.e. 911), detects SCA and cardiac arrhythmias, locates an AED, guides the rescuer through CPR and connection of the AED. A second apparatus is in the enclosure that contains the AED, sends location information to the other apparatus, triggers audible and visual indicators, and provides information on the victim's location.

摘要: An emergency service provision platform may be provided. The platform may be integrated into existing transportation service provision platforms. The platform may be configured to receive pick-up and destination location and track a passenger's route from the pick-up location to the destination. The platform may provide the passenger with an emergency notification button. Upon selection of the emergency notification button, the platform may communicate and alert comprising passenger and driver information to emergency contacts, infrastructure, and personnel. In some embodiments, the alert may be issued upon a detection of deviation from a route between the pick-up location and the destination. The emergency contacts, infrastructure, and personnel that receive the alert may be pre-set or determined dynamically based on the passenger's location at the time of the alert issuance. Furthermore, while the passenger is en route to the destination, the platform may provide the passenger with destination specific information.

摘要: A system for monitoring a person in a building having multiple rooms. The system comprises a wireless sensor system for detecting and collecting movements of the person. The wireless system comprises: a data collecting device with an RF receiver; a plurality of wireless signaling devices with an RF transmitter, an adjustable room setting, a multi-color light source, and a push button; and a computing device with analysis software, and communication means for transmitting analysis date to viewing devices having a color display. When the button is pushed, a specific color is shown, the color is linked to the room-type and is set during configuration. The same color is used in the viewing devices. This allows easy and intuitive configuration, and easy and intuitive interpretation of the analysis data.
