Abstract: Embodiments of the present systems and methods may provide techniques to predict the success or failure of a drug used for disease treatment. For example, a method of determining drug efficacy may include, for a plurality of patients, generating a directed acyclic graph from health related information of each patient comprising nodes representing a medical event of the patient, at least one first edge connecting the first node to an additional node, each additional edge connecting nodes representing two consecutive medical events, the edge having a weight based on a time difference between the two consecutive medical events, capturing a plurality of features from each directed acyclic graph, generating a binary graph classification model on captured features of each directed acyclic graph, determining a probability that a drug or treatment will be effective using the binary graph classification model, and determining a drug to be prescribed to a patient based on the determined probability.

Abstract: Provided are computing system and method for documenting and communication information within a mobile medical care environment. A mounting system supports the computing system within a mobile medical care environment. The computing system includes a decoding module that causes the processing circuitry to scan, with the non-contact scanner, a computer-readable code encoding information about a first medicinal substance. A record module causes the processing circuitry to link at least a portion of the encoded information from the computer-readable code to a patient ID that is associated with the patient and stored in the memory. A communication module transmits (i) the portion of the information from the barcode linked to the patient ID, and (ii) the patient ID to be stored by a medical record system at a healthcare destination.

Abstract: A configuration output generator apparatus is disclosed herein. The configuration output generator apparatus is configured to receive a therapy order that includes a therapy description corresponding to a therapy to be administered by a patient care device to a patient. The configuration output generator apparatus generates a first portion of a configuration output from the therapy order. The first portion of the configuration output includes plain text values specifying a configuration protocol for preforming the therapy. The configuration output generator apparatus also generates, using an algorithm and the first portion of the configuration output, a second portion of the configuration output that comprises an alphanumeric code. The configuration output generator apparatus then outputs the first portion of the configuration output and second portion of the configuration output for entry into the patient care device.

Abstract: A method and system for generating a plurality of antibody sequences of a target from one or more framework regions based on at least one model. The model is trained on a training dataset of high binding affinity to generate the complementarity determining regions (CDR) from the received one or more framework regions (FR). The generated complementarity determining regions (CDR) from the each of the one or more framework regions (FR) are combined with the associated one or more framework regions to generate one or more regions of the target. The generated one or more regions comprises each of the received one or more framework regions (FR) and corresponding each of the generated complementarity determining regions (CDR). The generated one or more regions are concatenated to generate the plurality of antibody sequences of the target. The generated plurality of antibody sequences of the target has high binding affinity.

Abstract: A system and method for providing updates to medical devices is disclosed. In one example, the medical devices are configured to pull update files in response to the reception of an update message from a server. Once the update files are downloaded by a medical device, the update files can be installed. While the medical device pulls the update files, the medical device can continue with its normal operation. If desired, a user can select which medical devices should be updated, based on any desired factors, such as the physical location of the device, the model of the device, the type of device, and the way the device is being used.

Abstract: A method includes generating topological clusters and network communities, relating each cluster and each community to a pharmacological property or pharmacological action, identifying, within each topological cluster or modularity class community, a subset of drugs that are not compliant with the cluster or community label, validating indicated repositionings, and analyzing molecular docking parameters for previously unaccounted repositionings.

Abstract: Traditional drug discovery methods are target-based, time- and resource-intensive, and require a lot of resources for the initial hit molecule identification. Phenotype-based drug screening requires differential gene expression data of a large number of molecules for different combinations of cell-line, time point and dosage. Experimentally obtaining gene expression data for all these combinations is again a heavily resource-intensive process. The technical challenge in conventional methods that use prediction models is that they depend largely on the data processing and representation. The disclosure herein generally relates to drug-like molecule screening, and, more particularly, to a method and system for gene expression and machine learning-based drug screening. The embodiment, thus, provides a mechanism of a small molecule-induced gene expression prediction based on machine learning models. Moreover, the embodiments herein further provide a mechanism of screening of drug-like molecules using the machine learning model(s).

Abstract: Patients being treated successfully with a drug of abuse and at low risk for abusing the drug nevertheless may be at high risk of being misidentified as a high risk of abuse. These patients may need and benefit from treatment with the drug but restricted or cut off from the treatment altogether due to the misidentification and then abandoned. Evaluating a patient's risk of drug treatment change due to a category misidentification may include developing a model for identifying such abandoned patients, applying the model to data of a patient, and determining a patient risk score for the patient based on a result of applying the model.

Abstract: One or more processors may be configured to detect whether a patient with diabetes is operating a vehicle based on one or more detected gestures. Based on the detection of operating the vehicle, the one or more processors may cause a patient device to output alerts according to a driving alert protocol. In another example, based on the detection of operating the vehicle, one or more processors may cause an insulin pump to operate according to a driving therapy protocol.

Abstract: Techniques for tracking a progression of a therapeutic procedure that is performed by a patient are disclosed. A notification is received from a server computer system. This notification relates to a tracking process designed to monitor a progress of the patient in performing the therapeutic procedure. After receipt of the notification, a UI is displayed. This UI has a particular visual layout that is designed to facilitate the tracking process. In response to a particular field being selected within the UI, a secret key that de-identifies the patient is accessed. The accessed secret key and a specific image are then encrypted. As a consequence, encrypted data is generated. The encrypted data is then transmitted to the server computer system.
