    摘要: A system for reduced noise during remote field testing (RFT). The system, while moving an RFT probe through a structure: generates, RFT probe, a magnetic field. The system detects, at a detector solenoid on the RFT probe, a measured magnetic field which is the magnetic field modified by the presence of nearby pipe, and wherein the detector solenoid has a non-uniform solenoid response (i.e. a non-uniform turn density and/or cross sectional winding area) along a longitudinal axis extending from a one end of the detector solenoid to the opposite end of the detector solenoid. The system then identifies and measures pipe properties from an analysis of the measured magnetic field, via signal processing in conjunction with modeling.

    摘要: An electromagnetic (EM) sensor includes a front end module generating an EM signal using electromagnetic waves transmitted from an external source, a sensor memory storing a portion of a plurality of machine learning models used to recognize the EM signal, and a microcontroller unit for recognizing the external electronic device emitting the electromagnetic waves by inputting feature values extracted from the EM signal to the machine learning models. If the machine learning models stored in the sensor memory are not able to recognize the external device, the feature values may be transmitted to a main processor, and the main processor may compare the feature values to another set of machine learning models.

    摘要: A resistivity measuring tool used in a drillstring having a drill bit on a distal end for drilling a wellbore in a formation includes a tool body having a longitudinal axis, a transmitting antenna, and a receiving antenna. The receiving antenna includes an antenna body having a longer axis disposed longitudinally in the tool body, and a wire coil having a central axis disposed around the antenna body, wherein the wire coil central axis is substantially perpendicular to the longer axis of the antenna body, and wherein the wire coil is configured to generate a magnetic moment orthogonal to the tool body longitudinal axis. The transmitting antenna is configured to transmit electromagnetic energy into the formation and induce a voltage signal related to a parameter of the formation in the receiving antenna.

    摘要: A system and method for the calibration of downhole azimuthally sensitive resistivity tools is disclosed. The system and method can eliminate and/or compensate for the measurement errors due to the electronic circuit, the mechanical structure, etc., of the tool. The system and method also can validate the measurement accuracy. The downhole azimuthal resistivity logging tool can be, but not limited to, the LWD azimuthal resistivity tools with coil(s) oriented in the directions other than the tool axis. In one embodiment, the system is constructed by the azimuthal resistivity tool, a tilted calibration loop made of conductive wire; an external resistor; and an external inductor. Some other method embodiment comprises an azimuthal resistivity tool, a semicircular conductive wire connected with a conductivity rectangular wire, and the external resistor and inductor. Although this disclosure is primarily intended for azimuthal resistivity Logging-While-Drilling (LWD) or Measuring-While-Drilling (MWD) tools, the disclosure is also applicable to wireline and any other possibly equipment.
