摘要: Among other things, one or more techniques and/or systems are provided for providing users with access to a route for travelling. A user, of a client device, may send a request for access to the route to a route planning service. The route may correspond to a starting location and an ending location. The route planning service may query a route database to identify an entry indicating that a restricted access road segment (e.g., a high occupancy vehicle lane, a shoulder lane, a bus lane, etc.) and/or a road segment (e.g., comprising a traffic light alteration capability) exists between the starting location and the ending location. Responsive to successfully authorizing the user for travelling the restricted access road segment and/or the road segment, the route, comprising the restricted access road segment and/or the road segment, may be provided to the client device.

摘要: A streetlight sensor platform comprising a sensor module which is coupled to a controller section having a lower portion for interfacing with a receptacle of a streetlight and an upper portion for receiving the sensor module. The sensor module is coupled to the controller section without the need for tools allowing easy installation and replacement. The sensor can be utilized for intelligent lighting and event notification such as public safety, emergency vehicle alerts, traffic monitoring, alerts and dynamic lighting applications.

摘要: A parking inventory management system includes a sensor apparatus with a plurality of magnetometers each configured to respectively generate a magnetic signatures of a vehicle as it drives across the sensor apparatus. A computing device is associated with the sensor apparatus and compares the magnetic signatures of the vehicle generated by each of the plurality of magnetometers to the magnetic signatures of the vehicle generated by each other magnetometer of the plurality thereof so as to determine a direction of the vehicle. A match between the magnetic signature of the vehicle as generated by at least two of the plurality of magnetometers indicates that the direction of travel of the vehicle is along a direction between those two of the plurality of magnetometers. A speed of the vehicle is derived as a function of a time difference between points of peak similarity between matching magnetic signatures of the vehicle.

摘要: To provide a parking lot management system capable of maintaining a high vehicle number recognition rate even with reduced camera performance. A parking lot management system 1 comprises a parking lot system 10 installed in a parking lot, and a server device 30 connected thereto by a network 2. The parking lot system 10 comprises a camera unit 11, and the server device 30 comprises a server-side control means 31, server-side memory 32, a data analysis means 33, and a server-side communication means 34. The camera unit 11 comprises a camera-side control means 13, a flashlight 14, an indicator 15 for indicating that a space is occupied, a camera 16, camera-side memory 17, and a camera-side communication means 18. Because the data analysis means 33 of the server device 30 has high analytical power, a low-performance camera 16 is sufficient for the camera unit 11.

摘要: An example method described herein includes receiving an image stream of a non-demarcated parking zone; identifying dimensions of the non-demarcated parking zone; determining an overall area of the non-demarcated parking zone based on the dimensions of the non-demarcated parking zone; calculating a capacity of the non-demarcated parking zone based on the dimensions of the overall area and predetermined vehicle dimensions; determining a number of vehicles parked in the non-demarcated parking zone based on the image stream and an object detection model, wherein the object detection model is configured to detect vehicles in the image stream that are parked in the non-demarcated parking zone; determining a parking availability of the non-demarcated parking zone based on the number of vehicles parked in the non-demarcated parking zone and the capacity; and performing an action associated with the parking availability.

摘要: According to an exemplary embodiment, there may be provided an automatic on-street parking control and parking spot availability detection system and the corresponding method. The system works with identifying a vehicle entering and leaving a street segment and counting the time it spent within the street segment. A street segment may be defined by segment limits arranged on the ends of the street segment. Smart nodes may be provided at the segment limits in order to monitor and/or identify the vehicles passing by and crossing the segment limit.

摘要: Systems and methods for controlling an autonomous vehicle to reduce idle data usage and vehicle downtime are provided. In one example embodiment, a computing system can obtain data associated with autonomous vehicle(s) that are online with a service entity. The computing system can obtain data indicative of the geographic area with an imbalance in a number of vehicles associated with the geographic area. The computing system can determine a first autonomous vehicle for re-positioning with respect to the geographic area based at least in part on the data associated with the one or more autonomous vehicles and the data indicative of the geographic. The computing system can communicating data indicative of a first re-positioning assignment associated with the first autonomous vehicle. In some implementations, the computing system can generate vehicle service incentive to entice a vehicle provider to re-position its autonomous vehicles with respect to the geographic area.

摘要: Systems and methods for predicting wait time in a parking area are disclosed herein. The systems and methods include determining how long a sensing vehicle has been within a parking area without parking. Using this information, the method determines the estimated wait time for the parking area and transmits guidance to one or more recipient vehicles. This helps with efficient selection of parking areas, saving gas and preventing congestion on roadways.
