Abstract: The present document relates to a method for determining whether a corresponding medium (for example, a channel) is reusable so as to improve a space reuse rate in a wireless communication system, particularly, a wireless LAN system, and an apparatus for the same. To this end, a station receives a wireless LAN signal through a specific wireless medium, compares the received signal intensity of the wireless LAN signal with a CCA level selected from between a first CCA level and a second CCA level lower than the first CCA level according to the type of the received wireless LAN signal, determines that the corresponding wireless medium is usable if the received signal intensity is lower than the selected CCA level, and can use the wireless medium in a signal transmission.

Abstract: A method for a station (STA) for operating in a power-save (PS) mode in a wireless LAN system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU); decoding at least a part of the PPDU; and operating in a doze state until the end of the PPDU on the basis of the result of decoding at least a part of the PPDU, wherein if the PPDU comprises an aggregate MAC protocol data unit (A-MPDU), then the STA can determine whether to operate in a doze state by considering whether any one from among a receiver address (RA) or a transmitter address (TA) included in the A-MPDU matches the BSSID of a basic service set (BSS) associated with the STA.

Abstract: A method for transmitting uplink frames of multiple users in a wireless LAN system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: an STA performing a countdown operation of a backoff counter for a contention-based channel access; the STA receiving a trigger frame which individually allocates uplink radio resources for the multiple users; the STA suspending the countdown operation until the uplink transmission of the trigger-based frame is terminated, wherein the trigger-based frame is a frame transmitted through an overlapped time interval in response to the trigger frame; determining whether the STA receives an acknowledgment (ACK) frame corresponding to the trigger-based frame from an AP; and if the STA fails to receive the ACK frame from the AP, the STA resuming a suspended countdown operation.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for a station (STA) to transmit a frame in a wireless local area network system includes setting a TXOP duration field and a UL flag and transmitting a high efficiency physical layer protocol data unit (HE PPDU) including the TXOP duration field and the UL flag. In this case, the STA sets the UL flag to a first value corresponding to uplink if the HE PPDU is addressed to an access point (AP). When the TXOP duration field is set to a special value other than a TXOP duration value for configuring a network allocation vector and the HE PPDU corresponds to a single user PPDU carrying an ready-to-send frame or a clear-to-send frame, the STA may set the UL flag to a second value corresponding to downlink, even if the HE PPDU is addressed to the AP.
