    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured to communicate with one or more transmission and reception points (TRPS). The UE receives a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set configuration including a first resource set corresponding to a first transmission and reception point (TRP) and a second resource set corresponding to a second TRP, receives a downlink control information (DCI) transmission including an SRS resource indicator (SRI) indicating (i) which resource from the first resource set should be selected for a first physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission to a first TRP, and (ii) which resource from the second resource set should be selected for a second PUSCH transmission to a second TRP and transmits the first PUSCH transmission to the first TRP and the second PUSCH transmission to the second TRP.

    Abstract: Some embodiments include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for facilitating processing times in a 5G wireless communications system. When operating at higher frequency subcarrier spacing (SCS), slot times for receiving and/or transmitting data between user equipment (UE) and a 5G Node B (gNB) become shorter. Because of this, some UE may face difficulty in processing physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), and/or physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) data with sufficient speed. To address potential limitations, a flexible minimum processing time may be used to accommodate different UE processing capabilities. The UE may report its processing capabilities to the gNB. The gNB may then schedule communications according to the UE’s processing capabilities. The gNB may consider whether the UE implements a single or multiple processing engines. Further, the gNB may apply single-slot and/or multi-slot scheduling techniques to also prevent timing issues.

    Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing resource allocations for feedback channels in sidelink communications. A UE can be configured to receive a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) transmission or a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmission over a sidelink between the UE and a second UE for sidelink communication. The UE can allocate a set of resource elements within an interlace including multiple resource blocks to carry physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) content associated with the received PSCCH transmission or PSSCH transmission, where the set of resource elements includes a first resource element in a first resource block of the interlace, and a second resource element in a second resource block of the interlace.     Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for a user equipment (UE) to perform joint channel estimation for multiple downlink transmissions. A method performed by a UE can include reporting, to a base station, a capability of the lIE to perform joint channel estimation, receiving a configuration for joint channel estimation, where the configuration includes a time domain window (TDW) indicating a duration of the joint channel estimation, and further determining whether to perform the joint channel estimation.     Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for performing fast beam switching in a high-frequency wireless communication environment. Higher frequencies reduce transmission wavelength, which allows for an increased number of antennas and an increased number of beams. Therefore, beams become narrower and are more prone to failure. The UE must be capable of quickly identifying the beam failure and switching to a new beam. Therefore, the UE is capable of receiving multiple beams from the base station and configures both for testing and immediate use. In some cases, the UE can receive multiple beams for testing and assumes a default beam while feeding back to the base station a preferred beam. To support the larger number of available beams, MAC-CE and DCI are modified to identify this increased number of states. Alternatively, two MAC-CEs are sent, each containing a different group of states, and the DCI identifies both the group and the selected state.

    Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing downlink and uplink scheduling in communication above 52.6 GHz. For example, some aspects of this disclosure relate to a base station. The base station includes a transceiver configured to communicate over a wireless network with a user equipment (UE) and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver. The processor determines that the communication between the base station and the UE is in a frequency range above 52.6 GHz. In response to the determination, the processor disables a frequency main resource assignment (FDRA), modifies a Resource Block Group (RBG) size, or modifies a Resource Indication Value (RIV) determination. The processor generates a Downlink Channel Indicator (DCI) based at least on one or more of the disabled FDRA, the modified RBG size, or the modified RIV determination. The processor transmits, using the transceiver, the DCI to the UE.
