Abstract: An encoder includes circuitry and memory connected to the circuitry. In operation, the circuitry corrects a base motion vector using a correction value in a fixed direction; and encodes a current partition by using the corrected base motion vector corrected. The correction value is specified by an index indicating one of correction values included in a table. The table is selected from among a plurality of tables, wherein the correction values in one of the plurality of tables have different increments from the correction values in another one of the plurality of tables.

Abstract: Provided are M signal processors that respectively generate modulated signals for M reception apparatuses (where M is an integer equal to 2 or greater), a multiplexing signal processor, and N antenna sections (where N is an integer equal to 1 or greater). When transmitting multiple streams, each of the M signal processors generates two mapped signals, generates first and second precoded signals by precoding the two mapped signals, periodically changes the phase of signal points in the IQ plane with respect to the second precoded signal, outputs the phase-changed signal, and outputs the first precoded signal and the phase-changed second precoded signal as two modulated signals. When transmitting a single stream, each of the M signal processor outputs a single modulated signal. The multiplexing signal processor multiplexes the modulated signals output from the M signal processors, and generates N multiplexed signals. The N antenna sections respectively transmit the N multiplexed signals.

Abstract: A transmission method includes generating one or more frames for content transfer using IP (Internet Protocol) packets, and transmitting the one or more generated frames by broadcast. Each of the one or more frames contains a plurality of second transfer units, each of the plurality of second transfer units contains one or more first transfer units, and each of the one or more first transfer units contains at least one of the IP packets. An object IP packet of the IP packets which is stored in a first transfer unit positioned at a head in the one or more frames contains reference clock information that indicates time for reproduction of the content in data structure different from data structure of an MMT (MPEG Media Transport) packet, and header compression processing on the object IP packet is omitted.

Abstract: Provided is a wireless communication device. A PHICH reception unit determines whether a received signal in a PHICH region is an ACK signal or a NACK signal. When doing so, the PHICH reception unit does not receive a PHICH in a subframe in which a terminal monitors an E-PDCCH. A control signal reception unit outputs a retransmission prompting signal to a signal allocation unit when the signal outputted from the PHICH reception unit is a NACK signal and when a UL grant was not detected. Meanwhile, when a UL grant was detected, the control signal reception unit outputs the detected UL grant to the signal allocation unit. The signal allocation unit maps the transmission signal in accordance with the retransmission prompting signal and the UL grant and transmits the transmission signal from a wireless transmission unit.
