Abstract:
A method for and apparatus for applying a DRX (Discontinuous Reception) cycle in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device configures one among a short DRX cycle and a long DRX cycle by a rule/an indicator predetermined right after DRX configuration by RRC signaling. Discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle can be configured rapidly and the DRX operation without receiving a DRX Command MAC CE and waiting for a drx-InactivityTimer is expired can be provided.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for evaluating correlation validity between an estimation result and location information performed by a network object in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: obtaining from user equipment the estimation result from a first point in time; obtaining from the user equipment location information from a second point in time; obtaining correlation validity information for determining correlation and evaluating the correlation validity; and performing the correlation validity evaluation on the basis of the correlation for determining whether the location information is highly correlated to the estimation result. When the location information is determined to have a high correlation to the estimation result through the correlation validity evaluation, the location information is used for optimizing network performance. When the location information is determine to have a low correlation to the estimation result through the correlation validity evaluation, the estimation result is used for optimizing network performance.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for measuring and reporting a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method involves acquiring, from a network, a measurement configuration for measuring radio resource monitoring, the measurement configuration including information for requesting a CSI-RS measurement report, performing a CSI-RS measurement based on the measurement configuration in order to acquire a CSI-RS measurement result, evaluating whether or not a measurement result report condition has been satisfied based on the measurement configuration, and, if the measurement result report condition has been satisfied, transmitting a measurement report message to the network. The measurement report message includes the CSI-RS measurement result.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to random access procedures in a wireless network employing TDD scheme. According to one aspect of the present invention, the a user equipment (UE), receiving information a first time division duplex (TDD) uplink/downlink (UL/DL) subframe configuration and information on a second TDD UL/DL subframe configuration informing the UE of a change from the first TDD UL/DL subframe configuration, communicates with the network based on the second TDD UL/DL subframe configuration, but performs a random access procedure based on the first TDD UL/DL subframe configuration, when the random access procedure is initiated.

Abstract:
A method for processing a signal at a user equipment in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes steps of receiving, from a source cell, a handover command including information on an operating band of a target cell; and if the carrier frequency of the target cell is not calculated using the information on the operating band of the target cell, configuring the target cell as a barred cell.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a method and an apparatus used for in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the present invention is directed to a method of controlling cell activity and an apparatus therefore, in which the method comprises: receiving a signal including an identifier and a timer value, wherein the identifier identifies a corresponding TAG and the timer value is used for cell deactivation of the corresponding TAG; and applying the received timer value to all cells belonging to the corresponding TAG.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for reporting by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method logs, within a logged measurement, a log entry comprising a measurement result, wherein the log entry is related to one or more public land mobile networks (PLMN) contained in a minimization driving test (MDT) PLMN list for a logged measurement configuration provided for logging, and the method comprises: acquiring a new PLMN list; determining the validity of the log entry on the basis of the new PLMN list; and reporting the logged measurement report message to a network on the basis of the result of the validity determination.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for changing a physical cell identity (PCI) of a mobile relay node (MRN) cell in a wireless communication system is provided. When a donor eNodeB (DeNB) changes the PCI of the MRN cell, the DeNB transmits a message indicating a change of the PCI of the MRN cell to an MRN if it is determined that the PCI of the MRN cell collides with the PCI of a DeNB cell or a PCI of neighbor cells. When the MRN changes the PCI of the MRN cell, the MRN transmits a message including the changed PCI of the MRN cell to user equipments (UEs) served by the MRN.
Abstract:
This description suggests a technique of controlling the timing advance group (TAG) of a cell. In particular, this description suggests a method of managing the TAG in a communication system. The method may include receiving a control signal indicating a cell by user equipment (UE); putting the cell in a first TAG by the UE in response to the control signal, wherein the first TAG includes only at least one secondary cell of which the uplink timing is not decided; performing a random access procedure on the cell in the first TAG by the UE; and putting the cell in a second TAG from the first TAG by the UE.
