Abstract:
Exemplary systems and methods for monitoring a current state of a spatially extensive supply network having at least one control station that monitors and controls the supply network and a plurality of sensors that transmit measurement values relating to operating behavior to the at least one control station. Current measurement values are measured at positions on the supply network corresponding to each sensor. Each sensor analyzes measured signal variations and signal trends of the measured current values via an evaluating unit. The measurement values of each respective sensor are transmitted to the at least one control station in data packets at a defined time. At each respective sensor, when the analysis detects an abnormal measurement signal variation, a frequency of transmission of the respective sensor and each adjacent sensor is increased, the respective sensor transmitting the measurement values to the at least one control station or to adjacent sensors to which the respective sensor is connected to through a common supply line and which measure an identical or physically similar quantity.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a data processing device, a method and a computer programme for computer-aided substation tendering. Conventional substation tenders rely on by-hand selection of components representing not-preengineered, not-reusable substation parts. Such tenders are inaccurate and time-consuming. In this disclosure a module (2) represents a reusable preengineered substation part and is indexed according to an intuitive multiple-index categorisation system (12), has a standardized name (14) for designating all its related files and for encoding its function in an intuitively understandable, and has a module-descriptor (3) providing standardised information (4-10) to application routines for cost calculation (1a), technical data accumulation (1d), graphics accumulation (1b) and tender text accumulation (1c). Two module types (2a, 2b) are provided: Core modules (2a) are structured in sub-modules (10) and articles (9) and allow cost calculation (1a) from bottom up; black-box modules (2b) are monolithic, as supplied from a third party, and have a cost attached to them. The modules (2a, 2b) and/or sub-modules (10) may be fixed or parametrisable. A module library (17) and browser (11) assist in storage and retrieval of the modules (2).

Electrical insulation fluids comprising the triglyceride composition are disclosed. Electrical insulation fluids that comprise the triglyceride composition and a combination of additives are disclosed. Electrical apparatuses comprising the electrical insulation fluids and the use of electrical insulation fluids to provide insulation in electrical apparatuses are disclosed. A process for preparing the high oleic acid triglyceride composition is disclosed.
Abstract:
A lubricant/sealer dispenser is disclosed for a component press-in system that includes a pressurized lubricant/sealer reservoir filled with lubricant/sealer. A nozzle is supplied with lubricant/sealer from the reservoir and includes an offset tip formed of PTFE that is enclosed in a steel tube. A controller controls a motor that rotates the nozzle within an opening in a part at a selected depth. The motor rotates the nozzle about a fixed axis and follows an inner surface of the opening as the part is moved by a robot relative to the nozzle in a selected pattern. The nozzle applies the lubricant/sealer by applying the lubricant/sealer onto the inner surface of the opening.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an approach for granting access and respectively denying access to an instruction set of a device. The technical teaching provides the advantage that unauthorized access can be effectively prevented. Hence, maintenance work can be performed by specialized staff and security sensitive parts of the instruction sets are secured.
Abstract:
A method of manufacture of a ceramic metallization for ceramic metal transition, and ceramic metal transition itself, for the use in low, medium and high-voltage techniques, which may avoid a brazing foil, and/or overcome problems with the use of thin brazing foils, and/or to make the manufacture easier, but also more effective, wherein, on top of the Ni-layer will be placed an Ag-layer as a third layer, and then the metal part will be laid on top and connected by brazing or tempering.
Abstract:
A control apparatus and corresponding control method use per-unit filtering in a plurality of power-sharing controllers, to obtain a power-sharing command signal for respective ones among a plurality of different energy storage units in a hybrid energy storage system. The hybrid energy storage system includes two or more types of energy storage units and the power-sharing command signal for each energy storage unit is obtained by filtering an input signal using a filter having a filter response that is tailored to the energy storage characteristics of the energy storage unit. The input signal reflects load variations on the electrical grid and may be locally generated or provided by a remote node. While the power-sharing control loops used for each energy storage unit advantageously may be the same in terms of architecture and implementation, each loop uses tailored, dedicated filtering and, possibly, individualized values of one or more other control parameters.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the field of processing data in the stream processing network, such as processing data having data streams associated with multiple owners or entities. A method is disclosed of secure processing of input data by a stream processing network having first and second processing units, wherein the method can include: a) receiving input data from a communication channel, wherein the input data includes a first data stream associated with a first owner and a second data stream associated with a second owner; b) distinguishing data packets of the first data stream from that of the second data stream; and c) processing the first data stream with the first processing unit.
Abstract:
A method/device for managing and configuring field devices in an automation installation with a configuration tool designed to physically identify a field device in the automation installation and logically identify its field device type, to logically incorporate and configure it into the automation installation, the tool to this end resorting to a prescribed field-device-type-specific information package at least partially describing functions and data of the field device type. Parameterizing a plurality of field devices of the same type may be achieved by forming a first individual field-device-specific information package for a first field device from the field-device-type-specific information package, and a further individual field-device-specific information package for each further field device of the same type from the first individual field-device-specific information package, by first of all duplicating the first individual field-device-specific information package, then individualizing it for the further field device.
Abstract:
The present invention is concerned with Process Control systems including a client IED and a plurality of server IEDs connected to an Ethernet communication network. A protocol analyzer tool connected to the communication network captures messages directed to the client IED and assigns, from a standardized configuration representation of the PC system comprising the logical data flow definitions, a server or source IED to each captured message. A client IED independent way of diagnosing a cause of client overload problems is provided by analyzing statistically the captured messages. Such statistical approach allows identifying any operating server or source IED sending, on average, more messages than during a preceding period or more messages than calculated.
