摘要: A machine for processing tubing includes a chamber, a heater, a conveyor belt that passes through an interior space of the chamber, each of twenty or more links of the conveyor belt further comprising a generally planar outer-facing surface, each adjacent to a generally planar outer-facing surface of at least one other link, forming a generally planar composite surface along a substantially linear sub-path, and wherein a first link and a second link each comprises a first longitudinally-extending barricade adjacent a first side and a second longitudinally-extending barricade adjacent a second side of the at least one generally planar outer-facing surface, the barricades separated by a transverse distance that is less than one-half of the width of the conveyor belt, and wherein when the first and second link are in the substantially linear sub-path, a distance between the distal end of the first link and the proximal end of the second link is less than a total length of the substantially linear sub-path, such that an elongate member resting on and extending along the generally planar composite surface is transversely restricted from migrating more than one-half of the width of the conveyor belt.

摘要: A method for applying a predetermined pattern of material onto an elongate tubular substrate includes securing a first portion of an elongate tube having a non-circular outer perimeter to an engagement member configured to be rotated by a first motor, such that the elongate tube can be rotated in unison with the engagement member, operating the first motor to rotate the elongate tube, operating a second motor of to change the relative displacement between the elongate tube and a dispensing conduit along a longitudinal axis of the elongate tube, and expelling a conductive adhesive from a fluid dispenser through the dispensing conduit to form a predetermined pattern of the conductive adhesive on a surface of the elongate tube, the predetermined pattern of the conductive adhesive covering at least 180 degrees of the surface along the non-circular outer perimeter over a width of at least two millimeters along the longitudinal axis.

摘要: In one embodiment, system for real time monitoring of catheter aspiration includes a housing having a first port adapted for connection to a vacuum source and a second port adapted for connection with an aspiration catheter, a pressure sensor in fluid communication with an interior of the housing, a measurement device coupled to the pressure sensor and configured for measuring deviations in fluid pressure, and a communication device coupled to the measurement device and configured to generate an alert signal when a deviation in fluid pressure measured by the measurement device exceeds a pre-set threshold. In another embodiment, the system for real time monitoring of catheter aspiration further includes a vacuum source for connection to the first port and an aspiration catheter having an aspiration lumen for connection to the second port.

摘要: An apparatus for treating an aneurysm in a blood vessel includes an occlusion element disposed on a wire, the occlusion element including a cover for covering a neck of an aneurysm and an inner anchoring member. The cover is configured to expand from a compressed configuration in a tube to an expanded configuration when advanced out of a distal end of the tube to cover the neck of the aneurysm. The cover includes a sphere of mesh material formed into a hemisphere including two layers of mesh that is formed by folding a top portion of the sphere into a bottom portion of the sphere. The inner anchoring member is coupled to and extends from the second surface of the cover and is configured to contact an interior surface of the aneurysm. The inner anchoring member may be a cylindrical stem extending from a central portion of the cover.
