The system may comprise a mobile terminal side audio input/output unit, a mobile terminal side sending/receiving unit, a computer side sending/receiving unit and a computer side virtual audio driving unit, wherein, the mobile terminal side audio input unit is adapted to collect audio data; the mobile terminal side audio output unit is adapted to play the audio data; the computer side virtual audio driving unit is adapted to have the mobile terminal used as the input/output device of the computer. A mobile terminal, a computer, and a method for the system are also disclosed. It is possible to, with an existing mobile terminal, directly have the mobile terminal virtualized as the input/output device of the computer by using the system of the present invention and the mobile terminal, the computer and the method thereof, so that users may use the mobile terminal to initiate and receive VoIP calls.
Abstract:
Clock generators include phase-locked and delay-locked loop integrated circuits that support efficient high speed testing of clock frequencies. An integrated circuit device is provided with a clock signal generator having at least one delay element therein that is responsive to a control signal. A speed tracking circuit is also provided. This speed tracking circuit is configured to generate a signal having a measurable characteristic that tracks changes in a property of the control signal that influences a delay of the at least one delay element.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus includes an acquisition unit for acquiring a plurality of pieces of information to be grouped, the pieces of information including time information as attribute information, and an arithmetic unit for grouping the pieces of information acquired by the acquisition unit so that a portion in which a level of variation of intervals among times represented by the time information included in the pieces of information is greater than at least one threshold value is used as a boundary between groups.
Abstract:
VCO frequency is continuously variable through a wide frequency range in proportion to a first control voltage VC produced by a PLL containing the VCO. A second control voltage NVC is produced as a monotonically decreasing function of VC. A first current I0 is produced in proportion to VC and a second current I1 is produced in proportion to NVC. I1 is subtracted from I0, producing a control current IC=I0-I1 which is applied to the VCO.
Abstract:
A portable heated press device is disclosed that has an upper and lower member, each having an electrically heated platen, hingedly attached to one another near the platens. The lever design allows for multiplying the force applied to the member. An insulator ring is used to thermally insulate the heat from the platens from the handles of the device. The device can include a locking mechanism at the end opposite the platens to apply and maintain pressing force at the platens. The device can also be opened to 180 degrees to allow one platen to be used as a hot plate.
Abstract:
A media content item is evaluated for its “sentiment states.” That is, segments of the content item are determined to be, for example, “happy,” “exciting,” “sad,” “funny,” and the like. A “sentiment map” is created that delimits segments of the content item and contains the sentiment-state keywords associated with the segments. Some maps include an amplitude for each assigned sentiment keyword and a confidence value for the segment delimitation and for each keyword. As an exemplary use of the sentiment map, an advertisement broker matches the sentiments of his advertisement offerings with segments of a content item in order to place appropriate advertisements at times when they would be most favorably received. In another example, a recommender system recommends to a user a content item whose sentiment map compares favorably to that of a content item already enjoyed by the user.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a weatherstrip assembly may include forming an elongated reinforcement member, forming an elongated seal member, and trimming ends of the seal member and the reinforcement member. The reinforcement member and the seal member may be formed from first and second materials, respectively. The seal member may be formed around the reinforcement member such that the reinforcement member is at least partially embedded in the seal member. The seal member may include a plurality of sealing lips. The ends of the seal member and the reinforcement member may be trimmed using a laser cutter that is movable in multiple axes.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus includes an extraction unit operable to extract metadata used for recognizing an event associated with a captured image from at least one of the captured image and attribute information concerning the captured image, and a recognition unit operable to recognize, on the basis of the metadata extracted by the extraction unit, the event associated with the captured image from among a plurality of predetermined events.
Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for file processing. The method for file processing includes: obtaining a file; parsing the file to obtain a first character contained in the file; matching the first character with a preconfigured matching character library; obtaining an annotation corresponding to the first character when the first character satisfies a predetermined condition; and displaying the first character and the annotation. With the embodiments of the present invention, automatic annotation can be provided for a particular character in a file, such that the user's reading experience can be improved.
Abstract:
An exemplary loop heat pipe includes an evaporator, a condenser, a vapor line and a liquid line each connecting the evaporator with the condenser to form a closed loop. A working medium is contained in the closed loop. A wick structure is received in the evaporator, and includes a bottom wall contacting the bottom plate, a support wall extending up from the bottom wall and contacting the cover plate, and guide walls extending out laterally from the support wall. The support wall separates an interior of the evaporator into a liquid chamber adjacent to the liquid line and a vapor chamber adjacent to the vapor line. The guide walls are located in the vapor chamber. Guide channels are defined between the guide walls for guiding the working medium in a vapor state to flow from the vapor chamber through the vapor line to the condenser.
