Abstract:
Systems and methods may detect a proximity of one or more client devices to a venue that provides ambient music and generate an anonymous playlist based on preference data associated with the one or more client devices. Additionally, the anonymous playlist may be sent to the venue. In one example, one or more additional venue suggestions are sent to at least one of the one or more client devices based on the preference data and one or more playlists associated with the one or more additional venues.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to pontoon shields. The pontoon shields disclosed herein may, for example, protect pontoons from damage and/or enhance the aesthetic appearance of pontoons. The shields may be fashioned from one or more segments of resilient material configured to attach along a longitudinal aspect of a pontoon. The shields may be fashioned from a single segment, or from one or more segments configured to mate with one another. The shields may be attached to a pontoon, for example, via an adhesive, weld, and/or one or more brackets, or other mechanical means.
Abstract:
A computer program for directing operation of a computer system that receives data from a portable electronic device operated by a caregiver. The computer program comprises a code segment for receiving data representative of a medical treatment to be administered to a patient (medical data); a code segment for receiving data representative of a condition of the patient before the medical treatment (pre-treatment patient data); a code segment for receiving data representative of a condition of the patient after the patient begins receiving the treatment (treatment patient data); and a code segment for correlating the medical data with the pre-treatment patient data and the treatment patient data to allow an investigator to determine an efficacy of the medical treatment.
Abstract:
Surface modeling systems and techniques are described which approximate Catmull-Clark subdivision surfaces. A quadrilateral mesh is analyzed by applying shape and tangent masks to faces on the quad-mesh. Through application of the shape masks, a shape patch is created which approximates the subdivision limit surface. This shape patch can be used for rendering surface shape. Through application of tangent masks, tangent patches are created which comprise tangent vectors which give rise to continuous normal vector fields, which can be used for shading of the surface.
Abstract:
In accordance with the present invention, a low dielectric constant structural layer is produced having increased mechanical strength and having a plurality of voids that comprises a substrate layer; a low dielectric structural layer juxtaposing the substrate layer; and an infiltrating layer comprising an infiltrating material having a volatile component and a reinforcing component juxtaposing the structural layer and coating at least some of the plurality of voids. Also, methods are provided in which the mechanical strength of a structural layer having a plurality of voids is increased by a) depositing the structural layer on a substrate layer; b) providing an infiltrating material having a volatile component and a reinforcing component; c) introducing the infiltrating material into at least some of the plurality of voids; and d) treating the infiltrating material such that the structural strength is increased by a substantial amount.
