Abstract:
A power amplification controlling apparatus and method in a mobile communication system are provided. An amplifying part amplifies an input Radio Frequency (RF) signal with a power supply voltage. A bias adaptation part detects at least one of environmental changes of the amplifying part, attenuates the RF signal according to the detected environmental change, detecting the envelope of the attenuated signal, and generates a supply voltage control signal according to the envelope. A power supply part changes the power supply voltage in response to the supply voltage control signal.
Abstract:
An apparatus for manufacturing optical fibers includes an external circular tube into which reactant gases are introduced from an entrance at one end thereof. An internal circular tube is inserted into the external circular tube through an exit at the other end of the external circular tube. The internal circular tube has a bore to which gas jets are supplied. Jet holes are formed to lead to the bore on the outer circumferential surface in the vicinity of the front end of the internal circular tube. The jet holes are for radially jetting the gas jets. An auxiliary jet hole is formed at the front end of the internal circular to tube to lead to the bore. The auxiliary jet hole is for jetting the gas jets frontward. A torch is installed to reciprocate along the axial direction of the external circular tube, for heating the external circular tube to induce a chemical reaction of the reactant gases to thus generate particles.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A mobile computer as an electronic apparatus and a control method thereof. The control method of the mobile computer which receives power from an adaptor or a battery includes receiving power from one of the adaptor and the battery and operating in an adaptor mode or a battery mode, performing a predetermined power saving operation, which is disabled in the adapter mode, while operating in the battery mode, and performing the power saving operation in a battery emulation mode by maintaining power supply from the adaptor upon an occurrence of a predetermined mode changing event in the adaptor mode.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus improve the performance of a carrier amplifier in a Doherty amplifier. The Doherty amplifier includes a power divider, a carrier amplifier, at least one peaking amplifier, offset lines, and a Doherty circuit. The power divider provides a power signal to each of the carrier amplifier and the at least one peaking amplifier. The carrier amplifier amplifies power of a signal inputted from the power divider. The at least one peaking amplifier amplifies power of a signal inputted from the power divider. The offset lines control a load impedance when the at least one peaking amplifier does not operate. When the at least one peaking amplifier does not operate, the Doherty circuit generates the load impedance of the carrier amplifier that is larger than twice a load impedance at the maximum output power of the carrier amplifier.
Abstract:
An aerodynamic lens includes a cylindrical hollow body having an inlet and an outlet, and first and second focusing parts formed in the body. The first focusing part includes a plurality of orifice lenses of which inner diameters (df) are gradually decreased in an advancing direction of particle. The second focusing part includes a plurality of orifice lenses of which inner diameters (df) are gradually increased in the advancing direction of particle.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a dryer includes: a steam supply step of supplying steam to the interior of a drum to create a high temperature atmosphere and sterilize a dry item housed in the drum; and a hot wind supply step of supplying hot wind to the interior of the drum to uniformly maintain the temperature at the interior of the drum. The dry items can be effectively sterilized within a short time without causing a thermal damage to the dry items, creases of the dry items can be removed, and the dry items can be deodorized.
Abstract:
An method and apparatus for power amplification in a mobile communication system, wherein a signal converter for receives signals from a baseband-side, modulates the received signals into oversampled baseband digital signals, and generates signals having a constant envelope with the oversampled base band digital signals, an up-converter up-converts the generated signals having the constant envelope to Radio Frequency (RF) signals for output, and a power amplifier amplifies the RF signals according to system setup levels and outputs envelope signals of a predetermined level.
