Abstract:
The present invention describes how a trusted network routing authority, such as a VoIP inter-exchange carrier or clearinghouse can provide routing and secure access control across multiple network domains with a single routing and admission request. This technology can improve network efficiency and quality of service when an Internet Protocol (IP) communication transaction, such as a Voice over IP (VoIP), must be routed across multiple devices or administrative domains. This technology defines the technique of performing multiple route look-ups at the source of the call path to determine all possible routes across intermediate domains to the final destination. The VoIP inter-exchange carrier or clearinghouse then provides routing and access permission tokens for the entire call path to the call source.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel class of anti-cancer compounds, which contain a haloacetamide or azide moiety and are, in one embodiment, alkylating agents. These agents, either alone or in a composition, are useful for treating cancer, preventing cancer, delaying the progression of cancer, treating and/or preventing the recurrence of cancer, suppressing, inhibiting or reducing the incidence of cancer, or inducing apoptosis in a cancer cell. Accordingly, the present invention provides a) methods of treating cancer in a subject; b) methods of preventing cancer in a subject; c) methods of delaying the progression of cancer in a subject; d) methods of treating the recurrence of cancer in a subject; e) methods of preventing the recurrence of cancer in a subject; f) methods of suppressing, inhibiting or reducing the incidence of cancer in a subject; and g) methods of inducing apoptosis in a cancer cell; by administering to the subject an anti-cancer compound of the present invention or an analog or metabolite thereof, its N-oxide, ester, pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, or any combination thereof as described herein.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method of treating, preventing, suppressing, inhibiting or reducing the incidence of an Androgen Decline in Aging Male (ADAM)-associated condition in a male subject, by administering to the subject a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) compound and/or its analog, derivative, isomer, metabolite, pharmaceutically acceptable salt, pharmaceutical product, hydrate, N-oxide, prodrug, polymorph, crystal, or any combination thereof. The present invention further provides a method of treating, preventing, suppressing, inhibiting or reducing the incidence of sexual dysfunction, decreased sexual libido, erectile dysfunction, hypogonadism, sarcopenia, osteopenia, osteoporosis, alterations in cognition and mood, depression, anemia, hair loss, obesity, benign prostate hyperplasia or prostate cancer due to ADAM in a male subject, by administering to the subject a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) compound and/or its analog, derivative, isomer, metabolite, pharmaceutically acceptable salt, pharmaceutical product, hydrate, N-oxide, prodrug, polymorph, crystal, or any combination thereof.
Abstract:
A soap bar composition includes a soap mixture, a polyalkylene glycol, at least one of glycerin and sorbitol, water; and optionally, free fatty acid. The soap bar composition exhibits translucent properties.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to bar compositions in which an emollient composition comprising thickened entrapped emollient is added to a base bar composition at or during time of extrusion to form macroscopic, concentrated domains of emollient droplets. Addition of entrapped droplets allows far greater deposition than if the non-trapped emollients had been mixed in directly to form chips which are then extruded to form final bar.
Abstract:
An extruded toilet bar composition comprises mixtures of chips containing polyalkylene glycol, benefit agent and fumed silica, and chips containing a surfactant system.
Abstract:
Broadly, the present invention is of an articulated light transmitting cover apparatus adapted to attach to an article with a display, the cover apparatus including a light transmitting planar cover that is adapted to be removably adjacent to the article display, the light transmitting cover having a cover lengthwise axis and a perpendicularly positioned cover crosswise axis, further the light transmitting cover has a cover primary margin and an opposing cover secondary margin with the cover lengthwise axis spanning therebetween, in addition the light transmitting cover has a cover initial end portion and an opposing cover subsequent end portion with the cover crosswise axis spanning therebetween.
Abstract:
Various methods and systems are provided for facilitating the creation of a new and potentially thinner form of dielectric. Alternatively, for a given capacitance, a thicker layer can be created with lower risk of leakage. The present disclosure will enable the creation of physically smaller electronic components. Isotope-Modified Hafnium Dielectric is used to create a dielectric layer with a greater range of dielectric coefficients, which may enable the creation of smaller and/or more reliable electronic components.
Abstract:
An optical waveguide having a cladding layer formed of high-purity glass, or a cladding layer formed of high-purity isotope-proportion modified glass, and with a core of high-purity isotope-proportion-modified glass with the index of refraction of the core glass greater than the index of refraction of the cladding glass, said high-purity isotope-proportion-modified core material having a Si-29-isotope proportion at most 4.447% Si-29 (atom/atom) of all silicon atoms in said core, or at least 4.90% of Si-29 (atom/atom) atoms in said core, or having a Ge-73 isotope proportion of at most 7.2% Ge-73 (atom/atom) of all germanium atoms in said core, or at least 8.18% of Ge-73 (atom/atom) of Germanium atoms in said core region.
