Disclosed are a prism sheet and a liquid crystal display having the same. The prism sheet includes a base and a plurality of prism mountains. The base includes a front surface and a rear surface facing the front surface. The prism mountains are integrally formed with the base on the rear surface of the base. At least one prism mountain includes a plurality of light incidence surfaces and a reflective surface. The light incidence surfaces receive light. The reflective surface is adjacent to one of the light incidence surfaces to reflect the light. A vertical angle of the prism mountains formed between the light incidence surface adjacent to the reflective surface and the reflective surface, is in a range of about 70° to about 100°.

An optical body for a display apparatus which can improve brightness of a display apparatus and a display apparatus are provided. The display apparatus includes a light source, a display panel that receives light from the light source and displays an image, and an optical body positioned between the light source and the display panel, wherein the optical body includes an optical layer including a plurality of microfiber yarns having refractive index anisotropy, and pitches of the plurality of microfiber yarns are set based by the wavelength of the light to be transmitted or reflected.

An optical plate includes a first optical sheet, a reflective layer, and a second optical sheet. The first optical sheet includes first patterns protruding from a front surface. At least a portion of the first patterns includes a top surface parallel to the front surface. The reflective layer is provided on the top surface. A second optical sheet includes a rear surface making contact with the reflective layer. The optical plate is manufactured by forming the first optical sheet including the first patterns protruding from the front surface, forming the second optical sheet including the reflective layer and an adhesion layer, and bonding the first optical sheet with the second optical sheet such that at least the portion of the first patterns makes contact with the reflective layer.

The present invention relates to a composition comprising a bamboo plant extract for the prevention and treatment of inflammatory or blood circulation disease. The extracts of bamboo plant has potent anti-inflammatory activity by inhibiting NO production and blood circulation-improving activity by inhibiting elastase activity and healing the wound of vascular endothelial cell, activating u-PA expression and inhibiting PAI-1 expression, lowering cholesterol deposit and inhibiting neointima formation, therefore it can be used as a therapeutic or health care food for treating and preventing inflammatory or blood circulation diseases.

An OSGi-based dynamic service management method for context-aware system is provided. By adding a service bundle for service implementation to an OSGi framework, a service lifecycle is separately managed. For this purpose, the service bundle has several service implementations, and a service factory object is generated as many as the service implementations. The lifecycle of the service is managed. The service factory object installs and uninstalls the service. Accordingly, even when various sensors and devices are newly added to the context-aware system, a corresponding service can be installed and uninstalled at any time, thereby providing a dynamic management.

A polarizing plate includes a base layer, a buffer layer and a plurality of conductive lattice lines. The buffer is formed on the base layer. The conductive lattice lines are formed on the buffer layer in a stripe shape to reflect and polarize incident light. The buffer layer protects the conductive lattice lines. The conductive lattice lines include a silver (Ag) layer or an aluminum (Al) layer. Therefore, the buffer layer protects the conductive lattice lines, so that the lifetime of the polarizing plate may be increased. Furthermore, the display quality of a display panel and a display device having the polarizing plate may be enhanced.

Abstract:
The present invention is related to a transgenic animal inducing Alzheimer's disease. More particularly, the present invention is a vector for transformation of animal comprising a carboxyl-terminal fragments of mutant human beta amyloid protein which contains Indiana mutation (βCTF99) and a transgenic mouse inducing Alzheimer's disease prepared by microinjection of the same into a pronuclei of a fertilized oocyte. The transgenic mouse of the present invention exhibited clinical symptoms of Alzheimer's disease such as decreased of cognitive ability and memory, and increases of anxiety. Therefore, the transgenic mouse of the present invention will be useful animal model for a research of Alzheimer's disease. Particularly, since the transgenic mouse of the present invention showed more remarkable decreases of cognitive ability than any other transgenic animal model for Alzheimer's disease known in the art, the transgenic mouse of the present invention can be used as an animal model for disease relating anxiety.
