Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a game system equipped with a single referee machine, and a single parent machine and a single flag machine provided in each team. The referee machine collects needed information from all the parent machines and also transmits necessary game information to the parent machine of each team. Also, the parent machine generates information to command movement of a player of the self-team by employing both information acquired from the flag machine of the self-team and the information transmitted from the referee machine and then transmits the generated information to the player, and also transmits the information acquired from the flag machine of the self-team, to the referee machine. The flag machine specifies spot coordinate information from the movement of the player and also transmits the spot coordinate information to the parent machine of the self-team.

In the general formulae, A and B each independently represents a monovalent heterocyclic group bonded to an azo group by a carbon atom of the monovalent heterocyclic group; m and n each independently represents one of 0 and 1; and M represents one of a hydrogen atom and a monovalent positive ion.
Abstract:
A rice ball wrapper comprises an outer film, an inner film and a sheet of food sandwiched between the two films. The inner film comprising two film pieces having opposed sides lapping over each other at an approximate widthwise midportion of the wrapper. The outer film is provided at an approximate longitudinal and widthwise central portion thereof with tabs for tearing the film from the central portion to longitudinal opposite ends thereof. The tabs are formed by an incision made in the film through the thickness thereof.
Abstract:
According to an internal combustion engine of the invention, release operation of an antitheft device is selected as an event generating by necessity prior to the starting of an engine, and the pre-heat is started based on the generating timing of the selected event. The start timing of the release operation of the antitheft device is high in terms of both necessity as an event generating prior to the starting of the engine and reproducibility of the time length from its start timing to an arbitrary starting timing of the engine. The pre-heat completed state can be secured by starting the pre-heat synchronously with this timing or at a predetermined timing based on the timing, even when the engine is started at an arbitrary timing. Exhaust characteristics and fuel consumption performance can be improved by optimizing the temperature distribution of the engine at starting.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a game system having a detection unit for detecting a position of a spot moved from a start spot, a measurement unit for measuring time, and a decision unit for deciding whether or not spots measured by the detection unit have enclosed an area within a set time measured from the start spot by the measurement unit. The game system further has a computation unit for computing a size of a distance between the measured spots, or a size of the area enclosed with the measured spots, when the decision unit decides that there has been enclosure. The victory or defeat of a game player is determined by the size of the length or the size of the area, computed by the computation unit.
Abstract:
A warm-up control device for an internal-combustion engine comprises a heat storage device for storing a heating medium heated during operation of the engine, supplies the heating medium stored in the heat storage device to a drive device (a transmission and the like) prior to the start of the engine or:at the start of the engine, and supplies the heating medium stored in the heat storage device to the drive device while maintaining a condition where the heating medium is circulated in the path excluding the heat storage device and including the drive device after the start of the engine. The warm-up control device supplies the heating medium heat-insulated and stored in the heat storage device during operation of the engine, and sets the ratio between the amount of the heating medium supplied from the heat storage device to the and the amount of the heating medium supplied from the heat storage device to the drive device, on the basis of the temperature of the engine and the temperature of the drive device. At the start of the internal-combustion engine, the heating medium can be supplied to the engine or the drive device efficiently, and the warm-up can be performed as required.
Abstract:
An engine operating region in which two ignition plugs ignite at different ignition timings is restricted to a region (phase-difference ignition region) where the effect of different ignition timings is remarkably achieved. In the operating region other than the above region, simultaneous ignition is performed. A basic ignition timing IGMAPIN of the intake ignition plugs 8I is calculated by searching a map (S11). In the phase-difference ignition region, a basic ignition timing IGMAPEX of exhaust ignition plugs 8E is calculated by searching a map (S13). By contrast, in the operating region where simultaneous ignition is to be performed, the basic exhaust ignition timing IGMAPEX is set as the basic intake ignition timing IGMAPIN (S14).
Abstract:
A photothermographic material comprising a defined amount of a compound represented by the following general formula as a reducing agent is disclosed. In the following general formula, R1 and R1′ each independently represent an alkyl group, at least one of which is a secondary or tertiary alkyl group; R2 and R2′ each independently represent hydrogen atom or a group that can be a substituent on benzene ring; L represents —S— group or a —CH(R3)— group where R3 represents hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and X and X′ each independently represent hydrogen atom or a group that can be a substituent on benzene ring. The photothermographic material is characterized by providing sufficient image density by heat development, and showing good silver color tone and little change with time after the development.
Abstract:
An internal combustion engine having a combustion heater is constructed to prevent a thermal damage to the structure of an intake system due to combustion heat emitted from the combustion heater. The engine includes the combustion heater operating at a cold time. Cooling water is warmed by heat of combustion gas emitted from the combustion heater when in combustion, thereby speeding up a warm-up of the engine and enhancing a performance of a car room heater of a vehicle mounted with the engine. In the thus constructed internal combustion engine having the combustion heater, fresh air entering an intake air passageway of the engine is mixed with the combustion gas of the combustion heater, whereby the fresh air becomes a combustion gas mixed intake air toward an engine body. A temperature of the combustion gas mixed intake air is −obtained, and a combustion state of the combustion heater is controlled based on this temperature.
Abstract:
This invention relates to an intra-articular preparation for the treatment of arthropathy, which comprises microcapsules of (a) a high-molecular substance, which has biodegradability and biocompatibility, and (b) a drug. When applied directly to a joint area, this preparation can achieve a high drug concentration at the target area, can inhibit occurrence of general side effect, and can maintain drug efficacy over a long term. The preparation can therefore alleviate the burden on the patient.
