摘要： According to the present invention, an inter prediction method comprises the steps of: generating a merge candidate list for a block to be predicted, wherein the block is to correspond to a current prediction unit; deriving, on the basis of one of a plurality of merge candidates constituting the merge candidate list, motion information on the block to be predicted; and performing, on the basis of the derived motion information, a prediction on the block to be predicted so as to generate a prediction block corresponding to the current prediction unit.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for encoding and decoding image information and to an apparatus using same, and the method for encoding the image information, according to the present invention, comprises the steps of: generating a recovery block; applying a deblocking filter to the recovery block; applying a sample adaptive offset (SAO) to the recovery block to which the deblocking filter is applied; and transmitting the image information including information on the SAO which is applied, wherein in the step of transmitting, information for specifying bands that cover a scope of a pixel value, to which a band off set is applied, is transmitted when the band offset is applied during the step of applying the SAO.

摘要： The present invention combines an inter-prediction method using an AMVP mode and an inter-prediction method using a merge mode so as to use the same candidates. The method for decoding video data proposed by the present invention comprises receiving mode information on an inter-prediction method of a current block, determining, on the basis of the received mode information, whether the inter-prediction method to be applied to the current block is an AMVP mode or a merge mode, and selecting a candidate to derive motion information of the current block.

摘要： Provided are a method for managing a reference picture list, and an apparatus using same. An image decoding method comprises the steps of decoding one picture of second-highest temporal layer pictures in a hierarchical picture configuration; and decoding top temporal layer pictures which precede and follow the second-highest temporal layer pictures with respect to a picture order count (POC) in a POC sequence, respectively. Therefore, available reference pictures remain in a decoded picture buffer (DPB), thereby improving image-encoding efficiency.

An image-decoding method comprises: a step of filtering an n upper reference pixel of a block to be predicted and neighboring pixels of the n upper reference pixel so as to obtain the filtered n upper reference pixel; and a step of filtering an n left reference pixel of a block to be predicted and neighboring pixels of the n left reference pixel so as to obtain the filtered n left reference pixel. According to the present invention, intra-prediction may be efficiently performed to improve image-encoding/decoding efficiency.
