Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for load limitation in a aircraft high lift system, said system comprising individual segments of landing flap systems and slat flap systems, and a drive unit. The inventive device for load limitation comprises a control unit that is connected to position sensors and is embodied in such a way as to process signals from the position sensors and to generate a signal for limiting the supplied drive power. The invention also relates to a method for load limitation. According to said method, signals from at least two position sensors are measured; at least one reference variable is calculated form the measured signals; each reference variable is compared with a corresponding threshold value pre-determined from a maximum authorized load; and a control signal is generated for limiting the drive power, when at least one of the reference variables reaches or exceeds the threshold value.
Abstract:
A device has a housing (1) with a frame element (8) which is arranged within the housing (1). The frame element (8) accommodates at least one component and has at least one bending arm (12). The bending arm (12) is designed such that a contact region (36) of the bending arm (12) bears with prestress against a contact region (38) of a wall (34) of the housing (1) in a mounted state within the housing (1). The bending arm (12) is cohesively connected to the housing (1) by means of transmission laser welding by supplying a laser beam (46) of prespecified wavelength to the device in such a way that the laser beam is transmitted through the housing (1) to the contact region (36) of the bending arm (12). At least one region of the housing (1), through which region the laser beam is transmitted, is produced from a material which is transparent to the prespecified wavelength of the laser beam (46). The contact region (36) of the bending arm (12) is produced from a material which is absorbent for the wavelength of the laser beam (46).

Abstract:
A parking brake for a commercial vehicle equipped with an air-operated service brake is configured in such a way that the actuating energy for the brake is reduced in comparison to a configuration with a spring brake cylinder, while the installation space in the wheel area is minimized. Primary functional parts of the parking brake include an inner race and an outer race, which delimit an annular gap. Displaceable tapered-roller bearings are located in the annular gap. To adopt a release position in opposition to the action of a compression spring, the tapered roller bearings are disengaged from the conical surfaces of the inner race and the outer race.
Abstract:
An adhesive tape dispenser for dispensing and cutting a length of an adhesive tape. The adhesive tape dispenser comprises an adhesive tape cutting device. The adhesive tape cutting device comprises a) a resting surface to which a tacky side of said adhesive tape can be adhered while the adhesive tape is being cut, b) two lateral webs extending in the same direction from both edges of the resting surface to serve as guides for the adhesive tape, and c) a cutting blade having a blade edge and positioned on an inner side of one or both lateral webs in such a way that the blade edge is inclined at an angle which is oblique relative to the resting surface. The lateral webs have a height from the resting surface which is the same or is higher than each cutting blade. The adhesive tape dispenser is useful to dispense and cut adhesive tapes comprising a backing of biaxially oriented or highly stretched film, such as polyolefin.
Abstract:
A control unit for setting operating functions and operating parameters in an electrical household appliance includes a control knob retained on a control area. The control knob can be rotated about a knob axis for setting the operating parameters of, for example, a heating level. In order to simplify operation of the control unit, the control knob can be tilted or pushed out of an initial position or knob axis, into a selection position in order to select a specific operating function, for example a specific cooking position.
Abstract:
An electric oven with an oven muffle which can be closed by a door and in which a cooking-product support can be held on a holder element. The cooking-product support has its own cooking-product support heater element, and via a power supply element, the cooking-product support heater element can be fed with an electric voltage of the oven, is known. In order to keep the outlay for providing electrical contact for the cooking-product support heater element low, the holder element for the cooking-product support at the same time serves as the power supply conduit or element.
Abstract:
A motor vehicle door lock or the like including a housing with a detent pawl including a lock catch, a dynamic actuation linkage extending from an outside door handle and an inside door handle to the detent pawl, and a controller including a control disk with a plurality of peripherally located control cams, each of the control cams corresponding to a respective one of a plurality of functional positions including "locked", "unlocked", and optionally, "theft-proof" and "child-proof" positions. The lock also includes actuating elements in a control segment of the dynamic actuation linkage which is disengaged unless it is made engaged by coupling of the actuating elements by the action of one of the various control cams on the control disk. Thus, in the "locked" position, the dynamic actuation linkage to the outside door handle is disengaged so that the motor vehicle door cannot be opened by the outside door handle but the dynamic actuation linkage to the inside door handle is engaged so that the motor vehicle door can be opened by the inside door handle, and in the "unlocked" position, the dynamic actuation linkage is engaged to both the outside and inside door handles so that the motor vehicle door can be opened by both door handles. In the "theft-proof" position, the dynamic actuation linkage is disengaged to both the outside door handle and the inside handle so that the motor vehicle door cannot be opened by either door handle, and in the "child-proof" position, the dynamic actuation linkage to the inside door handle is disengaged so that the motor vehicle door cannot be opened by the inside door handle but the dynamic actuation linkage to the outside door handle is engaged so that the motor vehicle door can be opened by the outside door handle.
Abstract:
A curing component (A) containing amino groups available for reaction with epoxy resins (B), wherein the curing component (A) is a condensation product of di- or polyhydroxyaromatics (A1) with polyamines (A2) is disclosed. The curing component (A) is useful in preparing curing mixtures (C) which include the curing component (A) and at least one epoxy resin (B), whereby the curing mixtures are useful in the production of shaped articles and as coatings.
