    摘要: An image motion detecting circuit and an image motion detecting method of the present invention can accurately detect motion of such an image sequence that different still pictures are connected with each other. Inter-frame difference absolute values of an inputted image signal during a predetermined frame period are held by plural registers 105. Then, the maximum value is extracted from the inter-frame difference absolute values which are held by the plural registers 105, and the extracted maximum value is subtracted from the sum of the inter-frame difference absolute values during the predetermined frame period, thereby detecting the motion of the whole image sequence.

    摘要: A wire harness including a plurality of wires surrounded by an outer tube wherein the outer surface thereof has an axial line drawn thereon. If the harness becomes twisted during handling and before installation, the line becomes helical and, since it is of contrasting color to that of the surface to which it is applied, it is readily visible to the installer. To correct the undesirable twisting, the wire harness is counter-rotated until the line becomes straight once again. The device can then be installed in the usual manner. If installation of a twisted wire harness is attempted, the additional distances which the branches must travel will make them too short to reach their intended connection points. A device for applying the line to the outer surface is also disclosed.

    摘要: An immunoagglutination reagent includes liposomes, as a carrier, with a covalently bound antigen or antibody immobilized thereon. The reagent is used to assay an antibody or an antigen on the basis of agglutination. The assaying can be done at a high sensitivity in the short wave region where the change in turbidity caused by the agglutination is enhanced. An antibody or an antigen is immobilized onto the surface of the liposome, and a water-soluble polymer compound or a gelled compound is entrapped in the liposomes. The substance entrapped in the immunoagglutination reagent enhances the change in turbidity via the agglutination caused by the antigen-antibody reaction.

    摘要: To provide a branch connection device for an automotive vehicle which can be applied to a plurality of types of vehicles without enlarging the size thereof only by connecting respective auxiliary connecting members with one device main body, there is provided an auxiliary connecting member (2) which is connectable with a device main body (1) and includes a plurality of auxiliary connector portions engageable with the corresponding connector sockets, a plurality of auxiliary sockets into which connectors connected with ends of wiring harnesses are mounted, a wiring conductor for establishing connections different from specified connections established by an internal circuitry of the device main body between the wiring harnesses and between the wiring harnesses, the fuses and the relays. Internal circuits of the branch connection device can be easily changed and increased only by connecting the auxiliary connecting member 2 with one device main body 1, with the result that this device can be easily applied to a plurality of types of vehicles without enlarging the size thereof as in the prior art.

    摘要: A video recorder for recording a video signal having one frame period and having a high resolution such as a high definition television signal. The video signal in a frame period is divided into two groups for corresponding to a respective field period of the video signal. The two groups are encoded efficiently and independently of each other. After encoding the respective data as respective variable length data signals, pseudo data is added to either one of the variable length data signals having a smaller amount of variable length data than the other variable length data signal so that the amount of variable length data in the divided signals is substantially equal for a designated period. The encoded data is then recorded on an optical disk by a recording mechanism using two respective channels. When reproducing a video signal having lower resolution, such as is used for a standard television system, the video signal is reproduced by decoding the encoded data for one channel. When reproducing video signal having a higher resolution, such as a high definition television signal, the video signal is reproduced by decoding the encoded data from both channels.

    摘要: A coding and decoding apparatus is used to code and decode video signals. Input video signals are enhanced by an emphasis circuit having a nonlinear characteristic increasing an enhancement degree as amplitude of the input video signal decreases. The enhanced video signal, outputted from the emphasis circuit, is compression coded in an encoder and a code stream, representing a compression coded video signal, is outputted from the encoder. The code stream is transmitted to a decoder and the decoder decodes the code stream, outputting a decoded video signal. The decoded video signal is fed to a de-emphasis circuit having a nonlinear characteristic increasing a suppression degree as amplitude of the input signal decreases. As a result, low noise high quality video signals is reproduced from the de-emphasis circuit.
