摘要: Thrombin-binding substances are obtained by fractionating human urine by ion-exchange chromatography, affinity chromatography using a thrombin-bound carrier, immune adsorption column chromatography, gel filtration, and/or molecular-weight fractionation. One of the substances has a molecular weight of 46,500.+-.6,000 in reduced condition and 39,000.+-.10,000 in unreduced condition by SDS PAGE and an isoelectric point at pH 5.0-5.3, while the other has a molecular weight of 40,000.+-.8,000 in reduced condition and 31,000.+-.10,000 in unreduced condition by SDS PAGE and an isoelectric point at pH 4.9-5.7. They have strong affinity to thrombin. They are capable of promoting the thrombin catalyzed activation of protein C and prolong clotting time. They are stable to denaturing agents (urea and sodium dodecylsulfate).

摘要: Disclosed is a binder for binding a bundle of elongated bodies comprising a closed loop and a pair of converging-and-diverging arms integrally connected to the opposite middle portions of the loop and rising therefrom. In use a bundle of elongated bodies are pushed in between the opposite arms, and then the bundle is bound by intertwisting the arms around the bundle. A binder according to this invention assures a tight binding irrespective of the size of the bundle.

摘要: A fastener comprises a base formed of a flange and a plurality of leg pieces and a screw-receiving member adapted to be embraced between the leg pieces, whereby it is secured onto a given panel by a procedure which involves inserting the leg pieces into a fitting hole bored in advance in the panel, then inserting a fastening screw through a through hole formed in the flange into a screw hole formed within the screw-receiving member, imparting a helical motion of the fastening screw thereby drawing the screw-receiving member toward the flange, consequently causing the leg pieces to be spread outwardly within the fitting hole of the panel and brought into tight engagement with the fitting hole and, at the same time, enabling the fastening screw to be secured onto the panel through the medium of the base.

摘要: An active matrix addressing LCD device having an active matrix substrate on which conductive lines are formed is provided, which suppress the AI hillock without complicating the structure of the lines and which decreases the electrical connection resistance increase at the terminals of the lines, thereby improving the connection reliability. The device comprises an active matrix substrate having a transparent, dielectric plate, thin-film transistors (TFTs) arranged on the plate, and pixel electrodes arranged on the plate. Gate electrodes of the TFTs and scan lines have a first multilevel conductive structure. Common electrodes and common lines may have the first multilevel conductive structure. Source and drain electrodes of the TFTs and signal lines may have a second multilevel conductive structures. Each of the first and second multilevel conductive structures includes a three-level TiN/Ti/Al or TiN/Al/Ti structure or a four-level TiN/Ti/AI/Ti structure. Each of the TiN film of the first and second structures has a nitrogen concentration of 25 atomic % or higher. The Al file may be replaced with an Al alloy.

摘要: A liquid crystal display is fabricated which has bus wires disposed in a grid shape, switching elements coupled to the bus wires, and pixel electrodes which are disposed on an interlayer insulating film formed by coating and which are coupled with the switching elements. In fabricating the liquid crystal display, when a transparent conductive film is formed on the interlayer insulating film which is formed by coating, the temperature of the substrate is controlled to become 100° C.-170° C. In another embodiment, when the transparent conductive film is formed on the interlayer insulating film in a non-heated condition, an oxygen flow rate ratio is set to 1% or lower, and annealing is performed after forming the film. Thereby, when etching the ITO film on the interlayer insulating film, etching residue is not produced. Further, contact resistance between the ITO film and the lower layer metal can be uniformly decreased, and display defects can be obviated.
