Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrode plate, an electrochemical device and a safety coating. The electrode plate comprises a current collector, an electrode active material layer and a safety coating disposed between the current collector and the electrode active material layer, the safety coating layer comprising a fluorinated polyolefin and/or chlorinated polyolefin polymer matrix, a conductive material and an inorganic filler. The electrode plate can quickly open the circuit when the electrochemical device (for example, a capacitor, a primary battery, or a secondary battery) is in a high temperature condition or an internal short circuit occurs, and thus it may improve the high temperature safety performance of the electrochemical device.

Abstract: This application relates to a positive electrode plate and an electrochemical device. The positive electrode plate includes a current collector, a safety coating, a difficultly soluble layer and a positive active material layer, wherein the safety coating, the difficultly soluble layer and the positive active material layer are successively disposed on the current collector; wherein the safety coating includes a polymer matrix, a conductive material and an inorganic filler; wherein the difficultly soluble layer includes a binder and a conductive agent, and wherein the binder of the difficultly soluble layer has a solubility in an oil solvent smaller than the solubility of the polymer matrix of the safety coating in such oil solvent.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a secondary battery and a battery module. The secondary battery includes: a casing including a receiving cavity having an opening; a top cover assembly, and an electrode assembly disposed in the receiving cavity, wherein the electrode assembly includes two end faces disposed opposite to each other in a first direction perpendicular to a depth direction of the receiving cavity, a lug extending from each end face; the lug is a layered structure and has a redundant section near the end face and a connecting section connected to the redundant section; the current collecting member includes a current collecting portion fixedly connected to the connecting section. The lug of the secondary battery of the embodiment of the present invention has the redundant section, which can effectively buffer the movement and reduce the possibility that the lug is torn or broken due to an excessive tensile stress.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a secondary battery and a battery module. Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a cell and a battery using the same. The cell comprises a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate which each are provided with an uncoated current collector, the uncoated current collector of the positive electrode plate and the uncoated current collector of the negative electrode plate each are respectively welded with an electrical conductive piece used to connect with an external circuit. The uncoated current collector of the positive electrode plate is punched to form an electrolyte transmission channel and/or the uncoated current collector of the negative electrode plate is punched to form an electrolyte transmission channel; a punching manner of the electrolyte transmission channel comprises following one manner or two manners: one manner is that an edge region of the uncoated current collector which is not aligned with the electrical conductive piece is punched to form an semi-closed channel, the other manner is that the uncoated current collector is punched to form a hole-like all-closed channel. In comparison with the technology in background, by that the uncoated current collector is punched to form the electrolyte transmission channel, electrolyte infiltration speed is improved, at the same time the rate performance and the cycle performance of the battery are promoted.

Abstract: The present application relates to an electrode sheet for Li-ion battery and a Li-ion battery including the same. The stress releasing region provided by the present application can reduce stress received by the diaphragm during rolling and stretching processes, which can avoid cracking of electrode tab and electrode sheet, and can improve battery cycling performance and, at the same time, can also be fused in short circuit, thereby improving safety performance of the battery.
