Abstract:
A method includes forming an aluminum alloy structure, performing a first anodizing process to form a first color layer on the aluminum alloy structure, performing a first cutting process to form at least one first working groove in the first color layer and the aluminum alloy structure, performing a second anodizing process to form a second color layer in the first working groove, performing a second cutting process to form at least one second working groove in the first color layer and the aluminum alloy structure, and performing a third anodizing process to form a third color layer in the second working groove. Thus, the aluminum alloy structure is worked by cutting processes and anodizing processes to form an aluminum alloy product so that the aluminum alloy product has multiple color layers.
Abstract:
An article includes: a biodegradable textile material which includes a liquid absorbent layer made of a fiber material selected from rayon, cotton, linen, and synthetic fibers; and a liquid-impermeable layer bonded to the liquid absorbent layer, and made from a biodegradable composition including polybutylene succinate as a major component.
Abstract:
A rewritable phase change optical recording medium includes a substrate, a dielectric layer deposited on a surface of the substrate, and an optical recording layer deposited on the dielectric layer, wherein the dielectric layer may be omitted. The optical recording layer contains a composition of GexSb100-x-y-zMyEz, wherein 0.5≦x≦14.5; 0.5≦y≦14.5; 0≦z≦14.5; and M and E are different and are selected from the group consisting of Te, Cr, V, Ti, Ag, Sn, Si, Bi, Se, Al, Au, Ni, Fe, Cu, Mn, O, Ga, Cd, In, Pb and Hf, wherein M is not Te, when x is zero; and E is not Sn, when M is Te. The optical recording composition has a small crystal grain, a high ratio of reflectivity of the amorphous phase to that of the crystalline phase thereof, and a high crystallization rate, so that a blue light laser can be used to write/erase the recording medium.
Abstract:
A multimedia player capable of automatically creating a play list and a method thereof are described. The play lists corresponding to a variety of time segments are created according to time segments in a time period. The multimedia player creates a play list for a certain time segment according to a number of times that songs are completely played and a playback mode of the songs. When the multimedia player works in a same time segment in another time period, the multimedia player loads the play list of the previous time segment, and applies the playback mode previously set for each of the songs to the corresponding song.
Abstract:
Methods for channel scanning are provided. An embodiment of a method for channel scanning comprises scan progress information stored when interrupting a channel scanning process. A carrier RF subsequent to the most recently processed carrier RF is locked onto with reference to the stored scan progress information when resuming the interrupted channel scanning process. Channel information of a program carried by the locked carrier RF is acquired. The acquired channel information of the program is stored in a channel table.
Abstract:
A method of generating a protected standard delay format (SDF) file is disclosed. The interconnect delay descriptions of a SDF file are backwardly or forwardly integrated into the related cell delay descriptions according to their interconnection type to generate the protected SDF file. The total delay value of each signal path is the same as original, so that the simulation result generated by a simulator is not affected.
Abstract:
A coating device includes a coating material source, and at least one substrate disposed opposite to the coating material source. The substrate has a coating surface that receives coating material from the coating material source to form a film thereon. A board is disposed on the coating surface of the substrate. The height and thickness of the board and the angle between the board and the substrate determines gradually changed slope and gradually changed area of the film on the board, whereby the slope and the area can be precisely controlled during the deposition process.
Abstract:
A method for reducing standard delay format (SDF) file size is disclosed. The state-dependent descriptions in cell descriptions of the SDF file, which are impossible to be used, are removed by referring to a design description of an integrated circuit design. Therefore, the SDF file size is reduced and the simulation result generated by a simulator is not affected with the reduced SDF file.
Abstract:
A straw forming machine includes a feeding device, a pressing device, a sticking device, a conveyor device, and a cutting device. The paper material is stretched from the feeding device to the pressing device which curls the paper material. When the paper material is delivered to the sticking device, the two sides of the paper material are pressed by the sticking device to form the paper pipe, and the press roll of the sticking device rolls and sticks the two abutting portions of the paper pipe. Then, the paper pipe is delivered by the conveyor device to the cutting device which cuts the paper pipe to form drinking straws.
Abstract:
A pointed paper straw includes a paper straw (20) which is integrally formed with a pointed head (202) and an overlapping portion (201). The paper straw is formed by a paper mold sheet (220) which is formed by a residual edge (22) of a paper material (2). The residual edge has an end which has a left side and a right side that are cut symmetrically, with two triangular pieces (221) being removed, to form the paper mold sheet which includes a pointed portion (2201). The paper mold sheet has a left side and a right side that are curled inward and are overlapped and connected to form the overlapping portion.
