    摘要: A portioning dispenser for bulk food items is disclosed which receives bulk food items in a storage bin, portions food items from the storage bin, and dispenses measured portions of food items for further processing. The dispenser can include a rotary drum for conveying food items from the storage bin and a load cell for weighing the quantity of items conveyed from the storage bin into a secondary bin. The dispenser can also include a conveyor system for sequentially accepting, filling and returning a plurality of portion containers. In another embodiment of the invention, a method is disclosed for dispensing measured portions of bulk food items which includes several of the above-discussed operations.

The microphone and the switch are strategically located along a shape of the case so that as worn on the user's index finger and when the switch is activated by the thumb of the user's hand, the hand naturally cups about the microphone to form a barrier to ambient noise. Further, the microphone can readily be located near a corner of the user's mouth for optimal speech-receiving conditions and to provide more private audio input.

    摘要: A portable user interface device for performing wireless communications. The device includes a case, a display screen, a speaker, a microphone, a sensor, and a computer. The computer is disposed behind the display screen to define a display side, and the sensor is located adjacent the display side. The computer is programmed to control operation of the display screen and to operate a wireless form-filling module, a wireless data transfer module, and an application module. The form-filling module is of a type adapted to promote source data-type interface with a client server servicing the user interface device and limited data transfer capacity. The data transfer module includes a wireless transceiver and is adapted to communicate with a data transfer service on a non-priority, limited size basis. The application module performs a designated operation via the form-filling module and the data transfer module, displaying indicia immediately adjacent the sensor.
