Abstract:
A method for assisting a maneuvering process of a motor vehicle, and a parking assistance device are provided. In a method for assisting a maneuvering process of a motor vehicle, wherein longitudinal and lateral control of the movement of the motor vehicle is carried out on the basis of predefined setpoint values of the direction of travel, speed or steering angle in order to automatically carry out the maneuvering process, at least some of these setpoint values and the chronological sequence in which the setpoint values are predefined during the maneuvering process are stored.
Abstract:
A vehicle suspension system having a twist beam axle including a crossbeam and two trailing arms connected thereto. The rear ends of each trailing arm, in the motor vehicle longitudinal direction, having with a wheel mount for fastening a motor vehicle wheel. The front ends of each trailing arm connected via a bearing to the motor vehicle body. Each bearing associated with a MEMS designed as an actuator wherein movements of the bearings and therefore the twist beam axle about the vertical motor vehicle axis can be caused or unfavorable movements of the twist beam axle can be counteracted.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a method for preventing thefts of motor vehicles. The method includes detecting motor vehicles within a predetermined neighborhood of a motor vehicle to be monitored. The method further includes sending a query data record from the motor vehicle to be monitored to the detected motor vehicles. The method also includes monitoring of the motor vehicle to be monitored by the detected motor vehicles on reception of the query data record.
Abstract:
A mirror device includes at least one planar mirror arrangement which is constructed as a mirror element. The mirror element is resiliently bendable at least about axes parallel or tangential to a mirror element surface or is reversibly foldable about at least one fold line in the mirror element surface. The mirror element is coupled to at least one actuator, which is designed and constructed to effect a resilient bending or a reversible folding of the mirror element upon actuation.
Abstract:
A method of operating a parking assistance system involves operating a first sensor onboard a parking vehicle to obtain a first distance measurement to a parked vehicle, and transmitting a first wireless signal which activates a second sensor onboard the parked vehicle. The second sensor obtains a second distance measurement to the parking vehicle and transmits the result via a second wireless signal. The second wireless signal is received by the parking vehicle which then determines an inter-vehicle distance based on the first and second distance measurements, and uses the inter-vehicle distance to perform a parking maneuver. The transmission of the second distance measurement by the parked vehicle may be contingent upon existence of a condition (such as a sufficient state-or-charge of a vehicle battery or prior consent of an operator) of the parked vehicle when the parked vehicle receives the first wireless signal.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a device for operating a motor vehicle with an internal combustion engine in a coasting operating mode in which the motor vehicle rolls essentially in a propulsionless fashion and essentially without a perceptible engine drag torque on an essentially level road if there is no propulsion request or braking request from a driver of the motor vehicle. According to the invention, the coasting operating mode is not brought about by automatically opening the drivetrain but rather is simulated with the clutch closed in that so much air/fuel mixture is fed to the internal combustion engine that the engine drag torque is largely but not completely compensated.
Abstract:
With a method according to the invention for monitoring a parking permit of a motor vehicle, it is determined whether the motor vehicle is in a parking situation in which a parking authorization pass is necessary for a parking permit, and on the occurrence of such a parking situation the presence of a parking authorization pass is checked for and a first information signal is output to a driver of the motor vehicle in the absence of the parking authorization pass. The invention also relates to a device for monitoring a parking permit of a motor vehicle.
Abstract:
An apparatus for monitoring the blind spot of a motor vehicle has a mirror assembly with at least one mirror element that can be moved using an actuator, and a microphone assembly. The microphone assembly is designed to determine the sound direction, and the movable mirror element is in the form of a sound reflector.
Abstract:
Parameters that characterize a current driving situation of the motor vehicle are acquired. On the basis of the acquired parameters a current level of monotony is determined as a characterization of a monotony of the current driving situation. Whether the calculated current level of monotony exceeds a predetermined threshold is checked, and an exercise for the driver to increase concentration on driving the motor vehicle is performed when the threshold is exceeded.
Abstract:
An arrangement (202) of microelectromechanical systems for signal conversion in a vehicle interior is provided, which has a plurality of microelectromechanical systems (100), which each have at least one signal conversion unit (101) and a communication unit (102). The arrangement (202) furthermore comprises a control device (205) and the plurality of microelectromechanical systems (100) are configured to communicate signals to the control device (202). Provision is made for the plurality of microelectromechanical systems (100) to be arranged in a vehicle interior (201) and for the signals to relate to at least one state parameter of the vehicle interior (201). In addition, a vehicle (200) having a vehicle interior (201), which vehicle has such an arrangement (202), is provided.
