Abstract: In a vehicle control device for controlling the vehicle, when automatic downshift control for automatically downshifting a speed ratio of the transmission is executed in the case where a drive current value of the motor obtained when the second oil pump is driven is larger than a maximum value of the drive current value of the motor obtained when the second oil pump is driven in a normal drive state, the vehicle control device increases a minimum rotation speed of the drive source compared to a case where the drive current value of the motor is equal to or less than the maximum value, and when the automatic downshift control is executed in the case where a line pressure generated by a hydraulic pressure supplied from the first oil pump and the second oil pump is larger than a predetermined value, the vehicle control device does not increase the minimum rotation speed of the drive source even in the case where the drive current value of the motor obtained when the second oil pump is driven is larger than the maximum value.

Abstract: A control device installed in a vehicle comprising an electronic control unit configured to: accept a plurality of first requests from a driving assistance system; arbitrate the first requests; calculate a second request that is a physical amount that differs from the first requests based on a result of arbitration in which the first requests are arbitrated; and distribute the second request to at least one of a plurality of actuator systems, wherein the electronic control unit is configured to, when there is the first request requesting a driving force exceeding a first driving force necessary for recovery from a fuel cut state, perform arbitration such that an actual driving force generated by the vehicle is no greater than the first driving force, until reaching a driving force lower limit realizable by a powertrain actuator included in the actuator system at a current gear ratio.

Abstract: Method for operating a driver assistance system in a motor vehicle wherein an action plan comprising at least one measure for the targeted deceleration of the motor vehicle is determined, as well as predictive route data describing the distance to the coasting destination is determined when the driver ends the activation of the gas pedal and at least one potential coasting destination, which requires deceleration of the motor vehicle, is determined, and said measure is used for the longitudinal guidance of the motor vehicle, whereby the measures are selected from the measure group of at least one operation in a free-run operating mode and one operation in a coasting operating mode, whereby a stopping position is determined as the coasting destination and the action plan is determined for the deceleration of the motor vehicle to a complete stop at the stopping position.

Abstract: A vehicle is disclosed having a motor and engine selectively coupled to the motor via a clutch. The vehicle includes a controller configured to, in response to a vehicle wheel torque reversal, open the clutch to disconnect the engine from the motor, command the engine to enter a speed control mode, and control a motor output torque through a region surrounding the vehicle wheel torque reversal to reduce torque disturbances in a vehicle driveline.

Abstract: A control apparatus for a vehicle, which is provided with an engine and drive wheels, is configured, during an inertia running or stop of the vehicle, to execute a control for stopping the engine and/or disconnecting the engine from the drive wheels in each area, depending on whether a condition is satisfied or not. The condition is set based on an information transferred from other vehicle in which the control is executable during an inertia running or stop of the other vehicle. The information includes (a) a location information indicative of the each area and (b) an acceleration representative value representing a required acceleration of the other vehicle required by an operator of the other vehicle in the each area. The acceleration representative value is associated with the location information indicative of the each area.

Abstract: A vehicle control device includes a controller configured to allow cranking of an engine by increasing clutch torque at a time a deceleration request is detected during free running in which a vehicle is allowed to run in a state in which a clutch is disengaged and the engine is stopped, and makes an increasing rate of the clutch torque larger at a time when a negative pressure of a brake booster is small than at a time when the negative pressure of the brake booster is large.
