    摘要: A fuel injection system is proposed which serves for the improved conditioning of the fuel-air mixture fed to a mixture-compressing, spark-ignited internal combustion engine. The fuel injection system comprises preferably an injection valve at the air intake pipe wherein a conditioning member, pivotable by the amount of air introduced in opposition to a resetting force, is arranged downstream of an arbitrarily operable throttle element, this pivoting action being arranged to cause a pressure drop at the conditioning member. The fuel injection takes place through an injection valve disposed in an air bypass beyond the throttle element and the conditioning member. Due to the pressure drop produced by the conditioning member, it is ensured that, in all positions of the throttle element, a constant air stream is maintained via the air bypass, which serves for conditioning the injected fuel.

    摘要: A fuel injection apparatus for mixture-compressing, externally ignited internal combustion engines. An air flow rate member, arranged in the air intake manifold is moved against a return force by air flowing through it to adjust a control slide of a metering and distribution assembly arranged in the fuel supply line in order to effect the apportionment of a quantity of fuel which is proportional to the air quantity. The return force is produced by a pressure fluid acting upon the control slide, the pressure of the fluid being variable in accordance with operating characteristics of the internal combustion engine. The control slide has an actuation slide contacting the air flow rate member as well as an apportionment slide, which has a projection with a smaller diameter projecting into an axial throttle bore of the actuation slide and defining a damping space in the throttle bore. The damping space is in communication with the fuel supply line via a gap between the projection and the throttle bore, and there is a bimetallic spring arranged between the apportionment slide and the actuation slide. By this means a richer fuel-air mixture is controlled at the metering and distribution assembly in accordance with the starting temperature, during starting of the engine below a predetermined temperature; the enrichment is lessened after the start in accordance with both temperature and time.

    摘要: A bimetal device with an electrical heating element which serves for temperature-dependent control is provided. The bimetal device has a thin insulating layer, on which is arranged at least one electrical resistance layer which serves as a heating element. The resistance layer can be placed on the base of the bimetal device by means of vapor depositing or by thick film technology. In this manner a plurality of resistance layers can be provided that are insulated from each other and of which one serves for continual heating. It can also be useful to provide only one resistance layer which is connected in series with a PTC resistor and holds the bimetal device at a certain temperature. The embodiment of the electrical heating element as a resistance layer makes possible a very rapid heating of the bimetal.

    摘要: A fuel supply and mixture generating system for an internal combustion engine includes an air flow rate meter and, downstream thereof in the induction tube, a pivoting throttle plate actuated from the outside. Pivoting on the same shaft as the throttle plate is a mixture generating plate having a damping wing which moves in the same direction as the throttle plate in an appropriately configured wall region of the induction tube and a mixture generator wing with internal fuel channels and one or more fuel injection orifices at the edge where it defines the air flow cross section. The mixture generating plate is displaced by the air stream and this displacement is opposed by a spring. At full throttle, the force of the spring is changed by interaction of the throttle plate with the point of attachment of the spring.

    摘要: A fuel injection system for externally ignited internal combustion engines in which a fuel metering and distributing valve is controlled by an air sensing element disposed in the air suction tube of the engine and by structure which is adapted to alter the restoring force exerted on the air sensing element through the fuel metering and distributing valve. The noted structure includes a control pressure conduit, a pressure control valve connected to the control pressure conduit and a relief valve also connected to the control pressure conduit and connected to the fuel metering and distributing valve. The relief valve includes a sleeve valve and a throttle which is controlled by the sleeve valve. The throttle opens into a pressure chamber disposed on one side of a slide member of the fuel metering and distributing valve. This slide member exerts the restoring force applied to the air sensing element.

    摘要: A fuel injection system for externally ignited internal combustion engines preferably has one fuel injection location in the air induction tube (manifold). The metering of fuel occurs independently of the condition of the air prevailing at the injection location, the injection location is disposed ahead of the junction of the air induction tube which leads to the individual engine cylinders. Air is brought to a high velocity by means within the induction tube and impinges, at this high velocity, immediately on the injected fuel, enveloping the same. As a result, the mixture preparation is effected without wetting of the inner wall of the induction tube and the means which bring the air to the required high velocity.

    摘要: An electromagnetically actuatable valve is proposed, which serves in particular to inject fuel into the intake tube of internal combustion engines operating with fuel injection systems. The fuel injection valve includes a valve housing, a core, a magnetic coil and a cylindrical armature which is connected via a rod-like connecting part having a smaller cross section than the armature with a valve closing member embodied in the form of a ball. The valve closing member cooperates with a valve seat provided in a valve seat body. The radial guidance of the armature is effected by a narrow annular disk. The valve closing member is radially guided only by the valve seat in its closed position and by a stop in its open position. Downstream of the valve seat fuel guide bores lead into a preparation bore in the form of a blind bore, which has a diameter of approximately 1 mm.

    摘要: An electromagnetically actuatable fuel injection valve which serves to supply fuel to a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine having externally supplied ignition. The fuel injection valve includes a valve housing having an outlet tube in which a valve seat body is disposed. Respective magnetic coils are disposed on pole pieces and a permanent magnet is disposed between the pole portions of the pole pieces. In the valve seat body a flow bore is provided, which merges via a stop face with a guide bore, in which a ball-shaped armature is slidably disposed. A valve needle which is joined with the armature protrudes through the flow bore and, with a closing head, cooperates with a valve seat in the valve seat body. Directly upstream of the closing head a metering collar is provided on the valve needle, an annular metering gap being formed between the metering collar and the wall of the flow bore. The valve needle is supported in pendulum fashion in the flow bore via the ball-shaped armature and, when the valve is opened, it is centered in the flow bore by the fuel flowing therein.

The fuel injection valve includes a valve housing, a core having a magnetic coil and an armature, which is guided by a guide diaphragm and is firmly connected to a bearing tube. Protruding into the bearing tube is a spherical pivot segment of a valve member, which is on the one hand partially surrounded and engaged by a pan-shaped segment of the bearing tube and on the other hand is axially fixed by means of a retainer ring. Joined to the pivot segment is an elongation segment, on the other end of which a spherical sealing segment is secured, and which is further radially guided by means of a guide ring and thereby cooperates with a valve seat in a nozzle body. Since the pivot segment is pivotably supported in the bearing tube, shear forces at the armature have no effect on the sealing segment.
