    摘要: The invention relates to a fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine, comprising a presupply pump (1) and a downstream high-pressure pump (7), which is connected to a high-pressure accumulator (9) and wherein the high pressure accumulator (9) is operatively connected to at least one fuel injector (10). According to the invention, a fuel injection system is provided and a method for operating such a fuel system is described which avoids the disadvantage of a slow pressure build-up in the high-pressure accumulator (9) and rather allows a rapid start of the internal combustion engine. This is achieved in that the presupply pump (1) is designed to generate a delivery pressure by which a fuel injection by means of the fuel injector (10) is effected, at least in a defined operating state of the internal combustion engine. At the delivery pressure generated by the presupply pump (1), the fuel injector is prompted to open by a control device. A corresponding method for operating the fuel injection system provides for the presupply pump (1) to be operated in a starting operating mode until the internal combustion engine has been started, and after the internal combustion engine has been started to be operated in a presupply operating mode.

    摘要: A fuel injection system for continuous injection to an internal combustion engine has a pivoting air sensor plate with a correction lever that engages a fuel control plunger for metering out fuel in proportion to the air flow. The system also includes a bimetallic, temperature-dependent strip which exerts an opening force on the correction lever when the engine is cold. An electric heater is energized by the starter switch and begins to reduce the force due to the bimetallic strip even before the engine has actually warmed up. A second electric heater of reduced power maintains the strip in disengagement during normal engine operation.

The fuel valve extends transversely of the air aspiration line and is arranged to include a plurality of communicating passages about which is positioned a perforated carrier body. A sleeve that includes valve members is also arranged to encircle the carrier body and together therewith adapted to control fuel flow and air flow to said engine.

    摘要: A mixture-condensing, spark-ignited internal combustion engine includes an intake conduit, a fuel injection device for continuously injecting fuel into the intake conduit, and a measuring device located in the intake conduit and capable of being displaced, against a restoring force biasing the measuring device into a rest position, according to the volume of air flowing through the intake conduit. The measuring device regulates a fuel proportioning valve for adjusting the amount of fuel injected into the intake conduit. A stop, adjustable as a function of engine temperature, is engageable with the measuring device to define the rest position thereof.
