    摘要: A variable capacity wobbling swash plate type compressing apparatus is provided with a housing (10), and a cylinder block (12) arranged in the housing; the cylinder block being provided with cylinder bores arranged radially with respect to the central axis of the housing and equidistantly to one another; the cylinder bores receiving therein pistons (16) to be slidable therein. A drive shaft (20) is arranged in a crank chamber (18) so as to extend along the central axis of the housing, and supports thereon a swash plate (40, 44) capable of wobbling about an axis perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the drive shaft, and shoes (22) are arranged between the swash plate and the pistons for converting a rotation of the swash plate into reciprocation of the respective pistons. A rotary drive member (50) is fixedly mounted on the drive shaft to support thereon a bearing element (52b) for transmitting a rotation of the rotary drive member to the swash plate; the bearing element being provided with a connecting pin element (52c) extending from the swash plate and slidably engaged with the bearing element. The shoes and the bearing element are arranged in substantial alignment with center lines (CL) of the respective pistons, and this arrangement is unchanged even when an angle of inclination of the swash plate is changed so as to vary the compression capacity of the pistons.

    摘要: A variable displacement compressor comprises a housing containing a cylinder block, a plurality of pistons disposed in the cylinder block, a crank chamber, a rotatable drive shaft, a drive plate mounted on the drive shaft such that it may rotate integrally with the drive shaft, a rotary journal which can be pivoted with respect to the drive plate and a swash plate, supported on the rotary journal, for causing the pistons to compress a fluid. The inclination angle of the swash plate is controlled in relation to the internal pressure in each cylinder, and to the pressure in the crank chamber. The compressor further has a pin mechanism, pivotally mounted on the drive plate, for coupling the drive plate and the rotary journal. The pin mechanism is adapted to slide with respect to the rotary journal and to pivot with respect to the drive plate, when the rotary journal pivots with respect to the drive plate.

    摘要: A method for machining a variable displacement compressor piston. The piston is connected to a swash plate by a pair of semi-spherical shoes. One end of the piston has a slot for receiving the swash plate. The slot includes a pair of opposed walls. Each wall has a concave spherical recess for supporting one of the shoes. When forming the recesses, a tool having an asymmetrical spherical cutter is placed between the slot walls in the piston. Then, the piston is rotated about a machining axis that is perpendicular to the axis of the piston and intersects the midpoint between the walls. Then, the tool is moved such that the center of the cutter is located on the rotation axis of the piston. This forms the recesses on the walls such that the recesses conform to a single sphere, the center of which is located on the axis of the piston.

A flow regulating unit for adjustably regulating the flow of the liquid-phase refrigerant flowing through the refrigerant supply conduit is also arranged.

The support arm has guide holes or guide surfaces which are parallel with a plane passing through a central axis "O" of a drive shaft and the top dead center position of the swash plate, the holes extending in a direction in which the holes approach the drive shaft from the outer edge of the rotor. Sections taken so as to be perpendicular to the center lines of the holes (guide surfaces) can be circular. A spherical element interacting with the guide holes is arranged at the end of the guide pin away from the rotatable swash plate. Thus, the spherical element of the guide pin interacts with the guide holes so that the suction force, compressive reaction force and torque are sustained on a line.

The check valve has a valve seat member having a flow passage and a valve seat, a case attached to the valve seat member, and a valve element arranged in the case for cooperation with the valve seat. The case has a communication hole formed therethrough to allow the gas to flow from the flow passage through the communication hole to the outside circuit. An annular groove is formed in the outer peripheral surface of the valve element to allow a leaking gas to flow from the clearance space between the valve element and the valve housing to the exterior of the valve housing.
