Abstract: A wireless communication device for communicating across a wireless communication channel includes a memory storing instructions and one or more processors coupled to the memory to execute the instructions stored in the memory. The instructions are configured to determine a plurality of channel estimation measurements corresponding to a plurality of PPDUs received from an additional wireless communication device; determine a plurality of position measurements using information about the transmission of the plurality of PPDUs, wherein the position measurement is a position of the additional wireless communication device relative to the wireless communication device; select a subset of the plurality of channel estimation measurements based on the plurality of position measurements; and determine a change in a state of the wireless communication channel based on the selected subset of the plurality of channel estimation measurements.

Abstract: Some demonstrative embodiments include apparatuses, devices, systems and methods of communicating a PPDU including a training field. For example, an Enhanced Directional Multi-Gigabit (DMG) (EDMG) wireless communication station may be configured to determine one or more Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) Training (TRN) sequences in a frequency domain based on a count of one or more 2.16 Gigahertz (GHz) channels in a channel bandwidth for transmission of an EDMG PPDU including a TRN field; generate one or more OFDM TRN waveforms in a time domain based on the one or more OFDM TRN sequences, respectively, and based on an OFDM TRN mapping matrix, which is based on a count of the one or more transmit chains; and transmit an OFDM mode transmission of the EDMG PPDU over the channel bandwidth, the OFDM mode transmission comprising transmission of the TRN field based on the one or more OFDM TRN waveforms.

The ADC system includes a 1-bit ADC configured to receive the RF signal, and an ADC controller circuitry configured to measure a number of positive samples in the received RF signal for a plurality of thresholds of the 1-bit ADC, estimate receive signal power associated with the received RF signal based on the measured number of positive samples, determine a direct current (DC) offset in the received RF signal using the estimated received signal power, and adjust the received RF signal based on the determined DC offset.

Abstract: Embodiments of a STA configured for proximity detection by multiple WLAN link tracking are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the STA performs WLAN sensing using two or more WLAN links with one or more other STAs to track a channel state of each link and performs motion detection based on the tracked channel state of each WLAN link to detect motion in any of the WLAN links. If motion is detected in at least some of the WLAN links, the STA may perform proximity detection to indicate proximity by combining results of the WLAN sensing for each link to determine whether the motion is proximate to the STA or proximate to one of the other STAs.

Abstract: Embodiments of a WLAN sensing frame exchange protocol are generally described herein. In some embodiments, a wireless communication device is configured to perform a WLAN sensing protocol within a basic service set (BSS) comprising one or more stations (STAs) (STA1 and STA2) including an access point station (AP STA). The WLAN sensing protocol comprises a discovery phase, a negotiation phase, a measurement phase, and a reporting phase. To perform the WLAN sensing protocol, the wireless communication device is configured to operate as either a sensing initiator or a sensing responder, and to operate as a sensing transmitter and/or a sensing receiver. Some 60 GHz embodiments relate to WLAN sensing in a PBSS or IBSS with DMG STAs.

Abstract: For example, a first Enhanced Directional Multi-Gigabit (DMG) (EDMG) station (STA) may be configured to exchange first and second Beam Refinement Protocol (BRP) setup frames with a second EDMG STA to initiate a BRP Transmit Sector Sweep (TXSS) over an aggregated channel bandwidth including an aggregation of a primary channel and a secondary channel in a frequency band above 45 GHz; during the BRP TXSS, transmit a plurality of BRP frames to the second EDMG STA over the primary channel and the secondary channel according to an EDMG control mode; determine a transmit beamforming configuration over the aggregated channel bandwidth based on BRP feedback from the second EDMG STA; and transmit an EDMG Physical Layer (PHY) Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) to the second EDMG STA over the aggregated channel bandwidth based on the transmit beamforming configuration.
