    Abstract: An apparatus for detecting an obstruction in a conduit structure, the apparatus includes a sleeve portion, a plurality of sensor cells, a primary termination cap, and a secondary termination cap. The plurality of sensor cells coupled to the sleeve portion, wherein each sensor cell from the plurality of sensor cells is electrically coupled to the primary termination cap and the secondary termination cap. The sleeve portion configured to wrap around a conduit structure, wherein each sensor cell from the plurality of sensor cells is directed to an exterior surface of the conduit structure. The primary termination cap electrically and mechanically coupled to a first end of the sleeve portion, wherein the primary termination cap includes Wi-Fi transmitter, a primary microcontroller, and a power source connection. The secondary termination cap electrically and mechanically coupled to a second end of the sleeve portion to short the plurality of sensor cells.

    Abstract: Fabrication of a circuit board is facilitated by automatically determining an optimized power plane shape for a power plane of the circuit board, including ascertaining for the power plane a source location(s) and a sink location(s), where the source supplies power to the sink across the power plane. A center of current density is determined for the power plane shape, and a respective power plane sub-shape is incrementally generated between the center of current density and each source and sink location to, in part, supply a desired operational voltage from the source location(s) to the sink location(s) across the power plane. The respective power plane sub-shapes are combined into the optimized power plane shape. Further, the process includes initiating fabricating of the circuit board using, at least in part, the optimized power plane shape to provide the power plane shape within the circuit board.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for detecting transient voltage at an electrical component of a circuit board is provided.     Abstract: One aspect includes identifying via groups that each includes a ratio of a plurality of signal vias to one ground via based on a design file defining a layout of a multi-layer circuit board. A genetic via placement solver iteratively evaluates potential placement solutions that adjust a placement of one or more of the signal vias until at least one solution is identified that meets one or more placement criteria of the signal vias. The genetic via placement solver performs a mutation and recombination of one or more solutions that do not meet the one or more placement criteria and re-evaluates the one or more solutions that do not meet the one or more placement criteria. The design file is modified to include at least one shifted signal via position based on identifying the at least one solution that meets the one or more placement criteria.
