Abstract: A computer-implemented method, a computer program product, and a computer system for data sharding and topology alterations for disaster recovery preparation. A computer system estimates time needed to copy a data store of a data center that is assumed offline. A computer system determines whether the time needed is greater than a recovery time objective (RTO). A computer system creates a data shard for the data store, in response to determining that the time needed is greater than the RTO. Prior to the data center being offline, a computer system alters a current topology of the data store in a network connecting multiple data centers, by copying the data shard to a destination data center that does not contain the data store in the current topology, where, with an altered topology, the RTO is met in an event of the data center being offline.

Abstract: Described is an edge container of an edge data center that includes information technology (IT) racks holding IT equipment. Furthermore, the edge container includes at least one air conditioning unit configured to provide cool air to an aisle which enters an inlet side of the IT racks. Additionally, the edge container includes an economizer that includes an internal and an external heat exchanger. The economizer is then activated to increase a transfer of heat/cooling between an internal environment of the edge container and an external environment in response to a reading of an environmental condition being below a temperature of exhaust air in a hot aisle of the edge container which exits an outlet side of the IT racks. If, however, the reading of the external environmental condition is not below the temperature of the exhaust air in the hot aisle of the edge container, then the economizer is deactivated.

Abstract: In an approach to playback speed adjustment, one or more computer processors extract metadata from a media file previously consumed by a user. One or more computer processors determine the metadata includes an eigenvector associated with each segment of the media file. One or more computer processors import data associated with actions taken by the user while the user consumed the media file. Based on the data associated with the actions taken by the user while the user consumed the media file, one or more computer processors extract the eigenvector and an associated eigenvalue of each previously consumed segment of the media file from the data associated with actions taken by the user while the user consumed the media file. One or more computer processors add the eigenvector and the associated eigenvalue of each previously consumed segment of the media file to a user profile.

Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product for safety violation detection is provided. The present invention may include receiving a camera feed of a facility. The present invention may also include analyzing the received camera feed using an AI model to detect a safety violation in the facility. The present invention may also include tracking a position of a user device in the facility associated with a user moving through the facility. The present invention may further include generating a proximity alert responsive to determining that the tracked position of the user device is within a predetermined proximity of the safety violation in the facility. The present invention may also include outputting the generated proximity alert to the user device for preventative action by the user.

Abstract: A system and method for providing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) protection for a removable component through a retractable EMC protection apparatus. The EMC protection apparatus includes an actuation pin, a stabilizing bracket, an actuation arm, a spring brace, an arm spring, a second stabilizing bracket, a rounded pin, an angled engagement feature, an enclosure opening, a conductive surface, a protection device spring, and a retractable EMC protection device. The actuation pin is configured to engage upon a surface of an end product upon insertion of the removable component into the end product. The activation arm is configured to simultaneously compress the arm spring against the stop brace and to push on the angled engagement feature. The angled engagement feature is configured to push in a downward direction on the conductive surface to seal an enclosure opening of the removable component with the retractable EMC protection device.

Abstract: Artificially intelligent and dynamic infrastructure management in edge systems is provided. A number of available autonomous compute, networking, and/or cloud vehicles (ACNCV) is determined. Current conditions are extracted within an area in which the available ACNCV is defined to operate. Based on repositioning being needed, repositioning one or more of the available ACNCVs to a location last occupied under similar conditions. Based on the repositioning improving utilization, updating the ACNCV location in a database indicating improvement under current conditions. Location optimization is performed, including plotting a GPS location for each user, weighting each user based on individual utilization, resulting in a weighted k-means clustering to locate one or more centroids, locating in the database an allowable parking area closest to the one or more centroids, calculating a minimum movement among each of the ACNCVs to the allowable parking area, and transmitting repositioning instructions to a selected ACNCV.

Abstract: An apparatus according to one embodiment includes a container having an interior, and a divider in the interior of the container. The divider selectively separates the interior into first and second compartments. The divider is configured to keep bees located in the first compartment separated from bees in the second compartment when in a closed configuration, and to allow the bees positioned in the first compartment to enter the second compartment when in an open configuration. The apparatus also includes an image capture device for capturing images of the bees in the interior of the container, and an outlet for permitting ingress and egress of the bees from the second compartment. The container is configured to prevent the bees from escaping from the first compartment.
