Abstract:
A system and method of providing edit and continue support in a software program debugging environment. “Edit and continue” support allows a user (e.g., programmer and/or developer) to update the code and/or data structure(s) of an executing program while it is running. After the user has finished editing their code and resumes execution, an integrated development environment (IDE) propagates the edit(s) into a common language runtime (CLR) environment before continuing. Therefore, from the CLR environment's perspective, an edit is a block of intermediate language code (IL) and/or metadata that is inserted into a running process. The IDE can facilitate: determining “legality” of an edit; building the edit; sending the edit to the CLR environment; and/or, facilitating the CLR environment switch execution to the edited code.
Abstract:
A discrete solid orally deliverable pharmaceutical dosage form comprises a plurality of zones, wherein (a) at least one zone comprises an NSAID; (b) at least one zone, other than a zone comprising the NSAID, comprises HPMC having dispersed therein a prostaglandin type compound in a form of a substantially water-free solid dispersion; (c) the plurality of zones are spatially arranged such that, if there is only one NSAID-containing zone and one prostaglandin-containing zone, these zones are arranged other than as a core and mantle respectively separated by an enteric coating layer; and (d) the HPMC comprises a fraction having particle size smaller than about 53 μm, said fraction exhibiting, upon dissolution in C02-free purified water to form a 1% weight/volume solution, a pH not lower than about 4. An assay method is also provided for selecting suitable lots of HPMC for use in preparing such a dosage form.
Abstract:
An assembly of containers is provided for efficient and controlled storage of a reagent and subsequent mixing of the reagent with a reagent diluent. The assembly includes a reagent diluent container and a sealed reagent vial. An adapter assembly includes a coupler having one end mountable to the reagent diluent container and having the opposed end defining a hollow plunger. A retainer ring has one end mountable to the coupler and the opposed end mountable to the reagent vial. The reagent vial is engageable with the coupler in a first position and is advanceable into a second position relative to the adapter assembly such that the hollow plunger thereof displaces the seal of the reagent vial permitting the reagent in the reagent vial to flow through the hollow plunger to mix with a buffer or diluent in the reagent diluent container.
Abstract:
A Vital Text Analytics System (VTAS), incorporating a repository of enterprise terms or concepts, is one that improves the readability and fidelity of technical specifications, instructions, training manuals requirements engineering documents and other related engineering documents, typically from a single organization or workgroup. The system stresses ontological analysis of a corpus of related documents, and applies a suite of computational tools that supports the identification and assessment of risk in evaluating the content of the documents, as well as providing statistical measures reflecting the frequency and severity of document features that threaten comprehension.
Abstract:
An adapter includes an interface module that receives signals from a first sensor that indicate a first fill status of a holding tank. A control module of the adapter generates a control signal based on the first fill status. The toilet is at least partially controlled by a toilet control module that restricts a flush capability of the toilet based on the control signal. An isolation module of the adapter isolates the interface module and the control module from at least one of voltage and current fluctuations that are external to the adapter.
Abstract:
An insect trap for mating disruption or monitoring purposes, comprising an at least substantially hollow body for containing an insect-attractant. The body is defined by a plurality of contiguous walls having interior and exterior surfaces, the interior surface of one or more of the plurality of contiguous walls at least partially covered with adhesive. The exterior surfaces define substantially flat faces, and adjacent ones of the plurality of contiguous walls meeting to define edges. At least one opening is defined in each of a majority of the contiguous walls, at least one of the openings being dimensioned to permit the ingress of insects into the interior of the body.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention provide an impeller and a method of producing the impeller. The impeller includes a first molded piece coupled to a second molded piece. The first molded piece includes impeller vanes, a motor hub, a nose, and an eye. The second molded piece includes a cover and a hole through the cover. The cover is coupled to the impeller vanes around the motor hub so that the motor hub extends through the hole.
Abstract:
The present invention is a system and method for providing improved functionality to an interest rate swap platform. The improved system includes functionality implementing single interest rate sale sessions initiated either as a result of market conditions or a user request, risk adjustment sales to allow users to balance portfolio risks, consolidated sweeps to more efficiently allow a user to manage an investment swap portfolio, and credit limit clearance functionality to improve the management of credit limits associated with users and clearance facilities.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provided for signing a user into a computer network associated with an automatic contact distribution system. The method includes the steps of providing a sign-on list that identifies a plurality of subsystems of the computer network of the automatic contact distribution system that the user had previously signed onto, detecting the user signing into the system, retrieving the sign-on list and automatically signing the user into each of the plurality of subsystems identified by the list.
Abstract:
A system, program product, and method to perform automated three-dimensional image registration of a part within an inspection cell, are provided. The system can include a laser-ultrasound inspection device having a scanning head to generate ultrasonic surface displacements in a part, an inspection laser, and an interferometer to collect phase modulated light reflected by the part. The system can also include a part position locator positioned to measure a distance between points on a surface of the part and a scanning laser reference location. The system can also include a database containing computer-aided design models for each part of interest, and a model of the inspection cell. The system can further include a laser ultrasound inspection computer communication with the laser-ultrasound detection device and the part position locator, and laser ultrasound inspection program product adapted to perform automated three-dimensional image registration of the part.
