摘要: Data processing architecture where submitters can write data and/or metadata changes to a destination through an asynchronous interface. The architecture includes a ticketing system that issues a ticket (a unique identifier) to the submitter in response to receiving a changelist from the submitter. When the changes are successfully completed at the destination, the cached destination data can be re-downloaded to the submitter, and the changes cached in the submitter, discarded. Absent this capability, a user has to manually manage the cached changes and cached data. The architecture can be distributed in that multiple submitters can submit changelists. The destination provides data integrity by managing submissions to assist in ensuring data integrity across multiple submissions. Automatic changelist cleanup is provided on the submitter so that changelists do not impact performance, memory, and storage.

摘要: This invention is a method applicable to an image processing device, which includes the steps of providing a preprocess module for extracting a high-frequency portion of an image inputted into the device, extracting a gradient of the image and decomposing the image into plane and edge regions according to a predetermined fixed threshold, and providing a composite up-scaling module for executing the magnification processes on the image and the high-frequency portion thereof respectively, wherein the magnification process of plane regions of the image and the high-frequency portion is based on a simple interpolation while the edge regions of the image and the high-frequency portion is based on both a smart interpolation and the simple interpolation. The magnification results of the image and the high-frequency portion are then processed by a fusion process, so as to output an image having sharp but not blocky edges, rich details and strong contrast.

摘要: A method and apparatus are described for implementing a reset procedure for radio link control (RLC) using radio resource control (RRC) signaling. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) receives a request for RLC reset. A processor at the WTRU comprises a RRC entity and a RLC entity. The RRC entity receives the request for a RLC reset in a radio resource control message. The RLC entity reassembles RLC service data units (SDUs) from any protocol data units (PDUs) that are received out of sequence at a receiving side of the RLC entity. The reassembled SDUs are delivered in sequence to a packet data convergence protocol entity (PDCP). At the receiving side of the RLC entity, any remaining PDUs that are not able to be reassembled are discarded. At a transmitting side of the RLC entity, all SDUs and PDUs stored in transmit buffers are discarded.

摘要: A method and apparatus for signaling the release of a persistent resource in long term evolution (LTE) are disclosed. An indication of the release of a downlink (DL) persistent resource is received by a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) from an evolved Node-B (eNB) via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). A positive acknowledgement (ACK) is transmitted by the WTRU which denotes that the indication has been received. The PDCCH or a medium access control (MAC) CE may be used by the eNB to signal the indication. At least one bit may be added to contents of the PDCCH to signal whether the PDCCH is for DL persistent or dynamic resource allocation. The DL persistent resource is then released and an indication that the DL persistent resource has been released is transmitted.

摘要: A WTRU configured to receive a multicast, a unicast or mixed signal. A multimedia signal may be a Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Signal (MBMS). The WTRU switches between an MBMS and a mixed signal and determines optimal time to switch between the MBMS and mixed signal. The WTRU switches between receiving the MBMS and mixed signal in an adaptive or semi-static pattern. A flat broadcast channel (BCH) structure in an MBMS dedicated cell is provided, eliminating need for a dedicated broadcast channel (D-BCH). An MBMS-dedicated cell uses a single paging channel for both paging-indicators and paging-record-blocks. A system information broadcast indicates flexible resource usage and paging-record-block limits. Tracking area (TA)/cell association is provided for an MBMS-dedicated cell and geographically co-located non-MBMS-dedicated cells. MBMS-dedicated cell system information is broadcast to regulate WTRU operation while receiving MBMS within said cell. Generic Access Profile (GAP) definitions is part of system information.
