摘要: A heat exchanger is provided that is capable of performing heat exchange more efficiently by using slits. The heat exchanger includes a refrigerant pipe for allowing a refrigerant to flow therethrough, at least one fin disposed such that the refrigerant pipe penetrates through the at least one fin for performing heat exchange with air passing by the at least one fin, at least one slit formed by partially cutting out the at least one fin, and at least one slit fin extending from the at least one fin adjacent to one side edge of the at least one slit for inducing turbulent flow in air flowing along a flow channel spaced a predetermined distance from the at least one fin. The width of the at least one slit is greater than or equal to ⅓ of the diameter of the refrigerant pipe. Turbulent flow is induced in air flowing through the heat exchanger by one side edge of the slit disposed downstream of the flow direction of air. Consequently, heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger is improved.

摘要: Provided is a positron emission tomography (PET) detector module using Geiger-mode avalanche photodiode (GAPD) as a photosensor. The PET detector module includes: a PET detector unit comprising a scintillation crystal detecting gamma rays emitted from a living body and converting them into a flash of light and a first GAPD photosensor and a second GAPD photosensor each being connected to either end of the scintillation crystal and converting the light flash into an electrical signal; and a reaction depth determination unit receiving the signals from the PET detector unit and comparing amplitude of the signals detected by the first GAPD photosensor and the second GAPD photosensor, thereby determining the position where the gamma rays are incident on the scintillation crystal (reaction depth). The disclosed PET detector module can provide high energy and high energy and reaction depth data while maintaining linearity.

摘要: The present invention provides an integrated PET/CT system that can simultaneously or sequentially take PET pictures and CT pictures, in which an integrated PET detector module is formed by packaging a plurality of PET (Positron Emission Tomography) detectors in a can or a cartridge, an integrated PET/CT detector module is formed by mounting a front end of a flat-panel x-ray detector at the PET detector, and the PET/CT detecting modules are mounted to a gantry. The integral PET/CT detecting module that is the most important component of the present invention can take CT pictures by mounting a flat-panel x-ray detector (or DR (Digital Radiograph)-detector) at the front end of a common PET detector, and the flat-panel x-ray detector can minimize attenuation and scatter of gamma rays, such that it is possible to minimize interference due to the x-ray detector in acquiring a PET picture.Since the integrated PET/CT system proposed of the present invention uses one integrated gantry, unlike the PET/CT products formed by simply combining PET and CT systems in the related art, it is possible to remarkably reduce the volume of the system by integrating additional periphery devices and driving devices, reduce the manufacturing cost of the system, provide improved PET/CT composite pictures, and simultaneously acquire PET and CT pictures. Further, it is possible to remove the limit in space for installing the system by achieving a slim system, and attenuate anxiety of patients by reducing the length of a tunnel through which the patients pass in taking pictures of the patients.

摘要: A backlight unit includes a substrate, a plurality of light emitting diodes disposed at corners of a polygon or arranged side by side on the substrate, and a plurality of lenses coupled to the light emitting diodes for directing the lights emitted from the light emitting diodes in a predetermined direction. The light emitting diodes are comprised of at least three light emitting diodes capable of cooperating with each other to create a white light. Each of the lenses has an asymmetrical irradiation characteristic such that the lenses allow the lights to be irradiated on a predetermined target region and uniformly mixed with each other. The lenses are designed and oriented to irradiate the lights in an elliptical shape close to a rectangle toward a top portion of the backlight unit.

摘要: The use of computer case is just to put together computer parts. A computer case needs to be located either on top of the desk, on the side of the desk, under the desk or on the floor. Not only computer desk takes up space but also the computer case is not safe from being stolen. By integrating computer case/chassis with a computer desk, a space-saving issue and parts-being-stolen issue will be resolved. This is a very easy to maintain. It can be unlocked to open the drawer and blow dust. If the system needs to be upgraded then open the drawer swap the parts without going through unplugging, re-plugging or assembling, disassembling hassle. If the system needs to be completely repaired then the entire drawer can be taken out just like the way a regular drawer is moved out. The drawer functions same as computer case but it is integrated with the desk.
