    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a laser diode array capable of inhibiting electric cross talk is provided. The method of manufacturing a laser diode array includes a processing step of forming a peel layer containing an oxidizable material and a vertical resonator structure over a first substrate sequentially from the first substrate side by crystal growth, and then selectively etching the peel layer and the vertical resonator structure to the first substrate, thereby processing into a columnar shape, a peeling step of oxidizing the peel layer from a side face, and then peeling the vertical resonator structure of columnar shape from the first substrate, and a rearrangement step of jointing a plurality of vertical resonator structures of columnar shape obtained by the peeling step to a surface of a metal layer of a second substrate formed with the metal layer on the surface.

    Abstract: A remote control is equipped with a pushbutton unit including a plurality of transverse linking sections linking pushbuttons in a transverse direction and a bridge section connecting the transverse linking sections at one side. This pushbutton unit is provided by integrally forming a first button group and a second button group respectively including a plurality of pushbuttons in a specified arrangement as a unit on a sheet-form elastic member in such a manner that pushbuttons of one button group are located between pushbuttons of the other button group and by cutting, along a specified cut line, this unit into two pushbutton units including transverse linking sections with pushbuttons linked in the transverse direction and a bridge section that connects the transverse linking sections at one side. Since the portion where any pushbutton of one pushbutton unit is not arranged can be used as the portion where a pushbutton of the other pushbutton unit is arranged in such a configuration, the wasteful use of material can be reduced. In addition, since two pushbutton units can be formed by one molding process, the forming man-hour per pushbutton unit can be reduced.

    Abstract: A fluid dispersal device has a fluid inlet port, a nozzle, a fluid jet passage and an outlet throat provided in a housing and arranged from the upstream side thereof in order. The sidewalls defining the fluid jet passage are composed of deflection walls, turn walls and branch walls arranged in order from the upstream side thereof. The deflection walls are parallel walls symmetric with respect to the center line of said nozzle, each of the turn walls continues from the downstream end of each of the deflection walls and is formed into a rectangular concave wall, the distance between the opposed rectangular concave walls is larger than that between the deflection walls. The branch walls continue from the downstream ends of the turn walls and project in opposite directions. The outlet throat is defined by the oppositely projecting branch walls. The fluid jet jetted from the nozzle is rightward of leftward deflected due to the interaction between the fluid jet and the deflection walls. The deflection fluid jet is branched by the branch walls into two branch flows in accordance with the amount of deflection thereof. One branch flow is dispersed from the outlet throat while the other branch flow flows into one of the turn walls. The turn walls turn the branch flows and make them collide with the deflected fluid jet perpendicularly to push the deflected fluid jet in a direction opposite to the deflecting direction thereof. Thus, the fluid jet is periodically deflected and oscillated within the fluid jet passage and is dispersed from the outlet throat.
