摘要: An organic EL device having a light emitting element including a first electrode (2), a second electrode (4) of transparent conductive film, and a light emitting organic material layer (9) formed between said first electrode (2) and said second electrode (4), wherein said transparent conductive film is made of a metal oxide deficient in oxygen as compared with stoichiometric composition. Since the transparent conductive film (4) directly in contact with the light emitting organic material layer (9) over a wide area is made of the metal oxide deficient in oxygen as compared with stoichiometric composition, the transparent conductive film can absorb moisture and oxygen which may possibly absorbed by the light emitting organic material layer so that the light emitting organic material layer is prevented from deteriorating, and the long emission lifetime of the element can be ensured.

摘要: First and second areas are designated in a source picture. A start picture is generated from a portion of the source picture which extends in the first area. An end picture is generated from a portion of the source picture which extends in the second area. At least one third area is designated in the source picture. The third area extends between the first and second areas. An intermediate picture is generated from a portion of the source picture which extends in the third area. An image file of a prescribed format is generated which contains data representative of animation pictures including the start picture, the intermediate picture, and the end picture. The image file is related with an audio file containing data representative of audio information. A file group including the image file and the audio file is generated. The file group is recorded on a recording medium.

摘要: A work vehicle with a hydrostatic steering system is disclosed which is capable of performing optimum control of the absorption torque of a hydraulic pump according to running load; capable of preferentially ensuring turning performance and implement speed when running load is relatively low; and capable of ensuring desired turning performance even when running load is relatively high. To this end, a bulldozer with a hydrostatic steering system, wherein the power of a hydraulic motor driven by pressure oil fed from a hydraulic pump operated by an engine is transmitted to right and left crawler tracks through a differential steering means composed of planetary gear trains etc., is designed to control the absorption torque of the hydraulic pump according to the speed ratio of a torque converter calculated by a speed ratio operation unit.

摘要: The configuration of a liquid crystal switch capable of reducing attenuation in an optical switch, and an optical reception device and an optical switch network that use this liquid crystal switch device are described. The liquid crystal switch device includes optical switches that perform ON/OFF switching of light beams by applying a voltage to the liquid crystal. The attenuation is further reduced by installing the ends of the optical fibers in depressions (or holes) that are formed in the substrate on which the switch elements are formed and in the liquid crystal encapsulation substrate.

摘要: A method of manufacturing an oxide superconducting wire which can manufacture the longest possible wire by connecting relatively short wires with each other and is capable of suppressing reduction of a critical current resulting from influence by strain when the wires connected with each other are bent, an oxide superconducting wire, a superconducting coil and a superconducting apparatus are provided. According to the method of manufacturing an oxide superconducting wire by superposing end portions of two oxide superconducting wires with each other thereby bonding the end portions and connecting the oxide superconducting wires with each other, a junction formed by superposing the end portions with each other is so worked as to reduce the quantity of strain on an end of the junction when the two oxide superconducting wires and connected with each other are bent. Each of the oxide superconducting wire, the superconducting coil and the superconducting apparatus has the aforementioned junction, and the quantity of strain on the end of the junction is reduced in the aforementioned manner.
