Abstract:
The present invention provides a novel bioactive substance having an antitumor activity and a process for producing it, and a medical use thereof. Namely, it provides a 12-membered ring macrolide compound represented by the following formula obtained from the incubation solution of Streptomyces sp. Mer. 11107 or a variant thereof, a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof or a hydrate of them, and a process for producing it.
Abstract:
An image forming system capable of shortening the time required to process configuration information on an image forming system and shortening communication time. When any of sheet processing apparatuses is activated before activation of an image forming apparatus, a controller of a sheet processing apparatus acting as a sub-manager configures a sub-system consisting of sheet processing apparatuses connected to a communication network and creates configuration data on the sub-system. When recognizing that the image forming apparatus is newly connected to the network, the sub-manager apparatus notifies the image forming apparatus of the already created configuration data based on which a controller of the image forming apparatus creates configuration data on the system and stores it into a RAM.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus has a configuration in which a plurality of subsystems, each having a specific function, are interchangeably connected to a base platform. Each of the subsystems includes a plurality of units having a variety of different performances. A control unit is capable of control each of the subsystems so that the image forming apparatus flexibly provides functions that are tailored to individual users' requirements.
Abstract:
A program operating apparatus is provided, which is capable of rewriting control programs for a plurality of CPUs without using any exclusive external apparatuses, thereby achieving a simplified and efficient rewrite operation. A control program stored in a ROM of a master CPU that controls the basic operation of the entire apparatus is transferred to a slave CPU and then written to an internal ROM of the slave CPU which controls the operations of functional units of the apparatus. The transfer of the control program is carried out when the mode of the apparatus is switched to a write control mode.
Abstract:
A sheet handling apparatus is provided, which is comprised of a plurality of inserter trays for stacking thereon insert sheets to be inserted between recording sheets having images formed thereon. Sheet feeding modes for feeding insert sheets include two kinds, i.e. S-stacking mode and F-stacking mode, that can be set by a mode key displayed on a sheet feeding mode setting screen view. In the S-stacking mode, only first-page insert sheets are stacked on a first inserter tray, and only second-page insert sheets and third-page insert sheets are stacked on second and third inserter trays, respectively. In the F-stacking mode, insert sheets are stacked in order of page on an inserter tray. Sheet feeding is suitably controlled by stacking insert sheets on inserter trays in manners corresponding to respective selected stacking modes.
Abstract:
To maintain high productivity and performing high-grade processes while minimizing deviation of a sheet process position in a direction at a right angle to a sheet conveying direction whatever types of sheets are to be processed, timing for starting detection of an end position of each of the sheets is controlled so as to execute the detection of the end position of each of the sheets at a vicinity of a sheet processing position on the sheet at which a sheet process is executed.
Abstract:
A sheet processor has a sheet transportation path, a punching unit for performing a punching operation on the sheets, the punching unit including a punch slide having a punch mechanism thereon, a moving device for moving the punch slide between a sheet punching operation position and a punch slide home position, the movement occurring in a direction transverse to the sheet transportation direction, and a detector for detecting completion of the punching operation by the punching unit. When the detector detects the completion of the punching operation, the moving device moves the punching unit to the punch slide home position.
Abstract:
Sheet processing apparatus including a process tray for stacking sheets received from an image forming apparatus, a jogger for jogging the sheet stacked on the process tray at one of two jogging positions, a discharge unit for discharging the sheet stacked on the process tray, and a discharge tray for stacking the sheets discharged by the discharge unit. The sheet processing apparatus includes a stapler for stapling the sheets stacked on the process tray, and a controller for controlling the stapler to staple the sheets at a stapling position corresponding to the jogging position by the jogger.
Abstract:
Even if a user sets an erroneous setting to a sheet, in order to provide an image formation system which can recycle sheets and improve operability without executing incorrect processing to the sheet, a reference value, which is referred in confirming an abnormal state of the sheet to be conveyed, before a generation of sheet size information is made to differ from the reference value after the generation of the sheet size information on the basis of a sheet detected result. In accordance with the sheet size information to be confirmed and the sheet size information acquired according to an instruction from an operator, processing corresponding to the instruction from the operator to the sheet is invalidated. An image formation operation is interrupted in accordance with the sheet size information to be confirmed and the sheet size information acquired according to the instruction from the operator.
Abstract:
A sheet processing apparatus, such as a finisher, to be used in an image forming device, has a sheet conveying device for allowing conveyance and temporary stopping conveyance to place the sheet in a waiting state, a sheet-conveying-condition detector for detecting a conveying condition for each sheet, a first mode of conveying a sheet by driving the sheet conveying device without placing the sheet conveying device in a waiting state, a second mode of conveyance which places the sheet conveying device in the waiting state, thereafter releasing the waiting state of the sheet conveying device in accordance with conveyance of a succeeding sheet, and conveying preceding and succeeding sheets in a superposed state, and a third mode of conveyance, placing the sheet conveying device in the waiting state, thereafter releasing the waiting state of the sheet conveying device, and conveying the preceding sheet separately from the succeeding sheet. A controller switches the sheet conveying device to the third mode when the sheet-conveying-condition detector has detected that a sheet having a different condition is included within a plurality of sheets to be discharged from the sheet conveying device in a superposed state in the second mode.
