A method for a user equipment for reporting aperiodic channel status information in a carrier aggregation system according to one embodiment of the present invention is carried out by the user equipment and may comprise the steps of: receiving DCI, comprising a CSI request field, for approving a downlink from a base station; generating aperiodic CSI for a CSI measurement target included in a particular triggering set corresponding to the particular bit value of the CSI request field; and transmitting the generated aperiodic CSI to the base station.

Disclosed is a method for performing positioning by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, including: receiving assistance data including reference cell information and neighbor cell information from a serving base station (BS), the reference cell information and the neighbor cell information including channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) configuration information for measurement related to CSI-RS-based positioning; receiving a CSI-RS from each of a reference cell and at least one neighbor cell on the basis of the received assistance data; measuring a reference signal time difference (RSTD) regarding the reference cell of the at least one neighbor cell using the received CSI-RS; and reporting the measured RSTD to the serving BS.

A method and user equipment (UE) are provided for reporting channel state information (CSI). The UE supports massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology in a wireless communication system. The UE receives, from an eNode B, M port CSI reference signals through a plurality of antenna ports composed of an L×M array, where L corresponds to a number of antenna ports in a horizontal direction and M corresponds to a number of antenna ports in a vertical direction. The UE selects a vertical antenna port by comparing energy of the M port CSI reference signals, and calculates a rank indicator (RI), precoding matrix indicator (PMI), and a channel quality indicator (CQI) of the selected vertical antenna port based on the M port CSI reference signals. The UE transmits the calculated RI, the calculated PMI and the calculated CQI to the eNode B.

A method by which a user equipment reports a channel state information (CSI) in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, can comprise the steps of: setting up a first CSI process in which a subframe pattern for a first subframe set, which uses an almost blank subframe (ABS), and a second subframe set, which does not use the ABS, is set; setting up a second CSI process in which the subframe pattern is not set; setting a second rank indicator (RI) of the second CSI process to be the same as a first RI corresponding to the second subframe set when the second CSI process is established so as to have the same RI as the first CSI process; and transmitting the CSI on the basis of the first CSI process and/or the second CSI process.

The method includes receiving information about an interference configuration set related to characteristic of an interference signal, receiving an interference sequence signal indicating one interference configuration of the interference configuration set, and performing cancellation of the interference signal using the indicated interference configuration, wherein the interference sequence signal is received in at least a portion of a channel state information-interference measurement (CSI-IM) resource, and the interference sequence signal is received from an interference base station (BS) when the interference signal is scheduled to transmit and corresponds to the interference sequence signal.

A method of reporting a channel state to a base station supporting downlink multiple input multiple output (MIMO) in a wireless communication system includes measuring a downlink channel based on a downlink signal received from the base station, and reporting a codebook index for precoding of the downlink signal according to the measurement of the downlink channel. In the case in which the UE receives channel state information (CSI)-reference signal (RS) resources for N1 antenna ports, if a report for N2 (N1>N2) antenna ports is set, a codebook for the N2 antenna ports is configured as a subset of a codebook for the N1 antenna ports configured by the base station. Information about the N2 antenna ports is received from the base station.
