摘要： An apparatus for enabling a plurality of monitoring functions to be performed on network data is provided. The apparatus includes a power module and a processor module. The apparatus also includes a set of network ports that includes a set of input network ports for receiving the data traffic and a set of output network ports for outputting the data traffic from the apparatus. The apparatus further includes a switchboard arrangement that includes at least two chips that are configured to interact with one another to perform the plurality of monitoring functions on the data traffic received by the switchboard arrangement. The apparatus yet also includes logic module for analyzing the data traffic and for displaying the statistical data pertaining to the data traffic. The apparatus yet further includes a visual display arrangement that is configured for displaying the statistical data.

The arrangement also includes a switch chip, wherein the switch chip is configured at least for analyzing the network traffic. The arrangement further includes a set of monitoring ports, which is configured to receive the network traffic from the set of network ports. The arrangement yet also includes a tap module, which is configured at least for intercepting at least part of the network traffic flowing through the network device and forwarding at least part of the network traffic to at least one of the set of monitoring ports.

The arrangement further includes means for routing the data traffic through the network, wherein the means for routing is configured to define one or more ports for transmitting the data traffic. The means for routing the data traffic is dynamic to balance the data traffic across multiple outgoing ports.

摘要： The present invention relates to a system and method for speech recognition that receives speech input and converts the speech input to data. A database is accessed to determine stored data corresponding to the speech input data. The stored data is associated with desired output data. The output data is output to a user as speech output. The speech output data may be in the same voice as the user to enhance comprehension and clarity. The present invention may be used in sorting mail in which a street address or post office box number is spoken into the system and the system provides desired information in the form of speech. The desired information may include carrier route number, mail-forwarding information, mail hold information or fee payment information but is not so limited. The present invention may also be used to provide excerpts of written material to a user on command, such as a desired chapter/verse of the Bible.

摘要： A panel for polypropylene injection molded siding, and for similar materials and/or uses, is mounted in lapped courses with panels attached at butt joints in a direction of elongation. Complementary tabs and slots at the panel ends can be engaged by end-to-end approach of the abutting panels. Additionally, openings for the tabs permit engagement from a position in which the panel ends are already overlapped, which reduces or eliminates the need for endwise assembly space. The slots can be discontinuous on one or both sides, openings permitting lateral insertion of the tabs at gaps, whereupon movement of the tabs along the slots engages the joint. The panels can simulate wood siding and include a step between simulated courses. A gap is provided in the edge of the panel at the step, thus forming an opening for the tab to enter and move along the slot.
