Abstract: A control device for a vehicle includes: an engine (10); an engine torque adjustment mechanism for adjusting an output torque of the engine; and a PCM (50) configured, upon satisfaction of a vehicle attitude control executing condition that the vehicle is traveling and a steering angle-related value is increasing, to control the engine torque adjustment mechanism to reduce the engine torque to thereby generate deceleration of the vehicle so as to control vehicle attitude. The PCM (50) is further configured to set a rate of change in the engine output torque being reduced, such that the rate of change becomes larger as the number of times of combustion per unit time in the engine (10) becomes smaller, and to control the engine torque adjustment mechanism to reduce the engine output torque according to the rate of change set by the torque reduction change rate-setting part.

Abstract: A vehicle control device is provided, which includes an engine, an engine control mechanism configured to control torque generated by the engine, a processor configured to execute a vehicle attitude controlling module to control attitude of a vehicle by controlling the engine control mechanism to reduce the torque so as to decelerate the vehicle, when a condition that the vehicle is traveling and a steering angle related value that is related to a steering angle of a steering device increases is satisfied, and a torque reduction amount setting module to set the reduction amount of the torque to be larger as a combustion frequency of the engine per unit time decreases. The vehicle attitude controlling module controls the engine control mechanism to reduce the torque based on the set reduction amount.

Abstract: The turbocharged engine control device comprises a basic target torque-deciding part for deciding a basic target torque based on a driving state of a vehicle including an accelerator pedal operation state; a torque reduction amount-deciding part for deciding a torque reduction amount based on a driving state of the vehicle other than the accelerator pedal operation state; a final target torque-deciding part for deciding a final target torque based on the decided basic target torque and the decided torque reduction amount; and an engine output control part for controlling the engine so as to cause the engine to output the decided final target torque, wherein the engine output control part is operable, when an operating state of the engine falls within a supercharging region where supercharging by a compressor, to restrict control of the engine corresponding to a change in the torque reduction amount.

Abstract: A vehicle control device is provided, which includes a drive source configured to generate torque as driving force of a vehicle, a transmission torque control mechanism configured to control transmission torque to drive wheels according to the generated torque, and a processor configured to execute a vehicle attitude controlling module to perform a vehicle attitude control by controlling the transmission torque control mechanism to reduce the transmission torque so as to decelerate the vehicle when a starting condition that the vehicle is traveling and a steering angle related value increases is satisfied, and then, when a given terminating condition is satisfied, controlling the mechanism to resume the transmission torque back to the torque before being reduced. The transmission torque is controlled so as to cause a yaw rate that occurs in the vehicle while the vehicle attitude control is performed, to be lower than an upper limit yaw rate.

Abstract: A powertrain system for an electric automobile outputs a desired torque from a motor with an angle of an accelerator pedal that is easy for a driver to operate, regardless of traveling environments such as the road surface gradient and the wind direction. The powertrain system includes a paddle switch and a shifter that are mounted to be operable by a driver, and are electrically connected directly or indirectly to an electronic control unit (ECU). The ECU controls, based on a torque control map defining the relationship between an accelerator pedal opening and output torque of a motor in advance, the output torque of the motor according to the accelerator pedal opening, and changes, based on an operation on the paddle switch or the shifter, the torque control map to be used for controlling the output torque of the motor.

Abstract: A vehicle control method is applied to a vehicle 1 in which a front wheel 2 is driven by an engine 4, and the method includes a basic torque setting step of setting basic torque to be generated by the engine 4, based on an operational state of the vehicle 1; a deceleration torque setting step of setting deceleration torque, based on an increase in steering angle of a steering apparatus 5 mounted on the vehicle 1; a torque generation step of controlling the engine 4 so that torque based on the basic torque and the deceleration torque is generated; and a deceleration torque changing step of changing the deceleration torque, based on a vehicle-width-direction mounting position of a steering wheel 6 and an operation direction of the steering wheel 6 when the steering angle is increased. Thus, vehicle posture control is performed in consideration of the vehicle-width-direction mounting position of the steering wheel 6 and the operation direction of the steering wheel 6, so that a driver fatigue reduction effect of the vehicle posture control can be secured appropriately.
