摘要: A liquid crystal display device is provided which has a large aperture ratio and which can prevent any leak occurrence and/or short circuiting between a pixel electrode and the opposite electrode. An organic interlayer dielectric film having a low dielectric constant is formed on a glass substrate and on a thin film transistor, also on a bus line for supplying an electric signal to the thin film transistor. Pixel electrodes operative to apply an electric field to the liquid crystal through the thin film transistor are formed on the organic interlayer dielectric film. An inorganic interlayer dielectric film having a high dielectric constant which is comprised of silicon nitride is formed on the pixel electrodes, and additional capacity electrodes are formed on the high dielectric-constant inorganic dielectric film in such a way that they partially overlie individual pixel electrodes, the additional capacity electrodes being operative to intercept light so as not to allow light transmission through a space between adjacent pixel electrodes.

摘要: The technical problem of this invention is to establish a method of processing a synthetic resin tube, in which the shape of a part of the tube wall is changed to form easily an attractively hollowed and/or raised portion in a fairly wide area of the tube wall. The object of this invention is to provide a tubular container having excellent decorativeness, appearance, or functionality that has never been found before. A method of processing a synthetic resin tube comprises utilizing a mandrel having a mold portion, which has at least a shape selected from a hollowed shape, a raised shape, and a hollowed and raised shape formed in a part of outer surface of the mandrel, and which is also provided with small through-holes in this mold portion; inserting a bottomed cylindrical mandrel into a synthetic resin tube, while bringing the inner wall of the tube in contact with the mandrel; heating and softening the tube in the portion facing the mold portion; deaerating the tube via a central opening and the through-holes to mold the softened portion of the tube in a manner similar to vacuum molding; and forming in the tube wall at least one of the portions selected from a hollowed portion, a raised portion, and a hollowed and raised portion.

摘要: An object of this invention is to provide a molded resin product having atmosphere of a quality product as a result of a stereoscopic pattern that is formed on the container surfaces by a simple method such as coating or vapor deposition. Another object of this invention is to provide a surface treatment process for laying a stereoscopic pattern of high quality on the resin surfaces. The molded resin product of this invention comprises a substrate made of a transparent resin, opaque coating film disposed on rear surface of the substrate except for an area set aside for a patterned portion, a transparent resin material disposed in the area set aside for the patterned portion on the rear surface of the substrate, and an opaque reflection coating or a half-reflective coating laminated to the transparent resin material. Under this configuration of the molded resin product of this invention, the patterned portion looks as if it pops up from the rear surface of the substrate. If a half-reflective coating is used, the pattern is visible through the half-reflective coating when the pattern is viewed from the rear surface of the lid of a molded resin product, thus giving atmosphere of high quality to the container.
