摘要: The present invention has an object to provide a method for efficiently producing a human T cell population which has both cytotoxic and immunosuppressive activities, and solves the above object by providing a method for producing a human T cell population which has both cytotoxic and immunosuppressive activities, comprising the following steps (1) to (4):(1) fractionating mononuclear cells collected from a human umbilical cord blood into CD14-positive (CD14+) cells and CD14-negative (CD14−) cells, and then fractionating the CD14-negative (CD14−) cells into CD2-positive CD14-negative (CD2+CD14−) cells, and CD2-negative CD14-negative (CD2−CD14−) cells;(2) co-culturing the CD2-positive CD14-negative (CD2+CD14−) cells obtained in step (1) with stromal cells to generate blast cells;(3) adding the blast cells obtained in step (2) to the co-culture of the CD14-positive (CD14+) cells obtained in step (1) with stromal cells to allow the blast cells to proliferate; and(4) allowing the blast cells obtained in step (3) to further proliferate by co-culturing with stromal cells in the presence of interleukin-2 (IL-2) to generate a human T cell population which has both cytotoxic and immunosuppressive activities.

摘要: A solifenacin succinate-containing composition with less impurities which can be used as a bulk for pharmaceutical is provided. The solifenacin succinate-containing composition of the present invention has a reduced content of especially its optical isomers in comparison with the known compositions containing an acid addition salt of solifenacin, so that it can be used for production of a therapeutic agent containing solifenacin succinate. In addition, the above-described solifenacin succinate-containing composition can be easily produced in accordance with the production method of the present invention.

摘要: A torque fluctuation absorber includes a disc fixed to a flywheel, a hub fixed to a transmission, first and second side plates fixed to the disc, a damper member, first and second control plates provided at axial both sides of the hub, the first and second control plates being riveted by a stopper pin, a first hysteresis mechanism including first and second low friction members and generating a small hysteresis, and a second hysteresis mechanism including first and second high friction members and generating a large hysteresis. The hub includes a flange portion having a through-hole into which the stopper pin is inserted. A relative rotational angle between the control plates and the hub is defined by a clearance formed between the through-hole and the hub. The first hysteresis mechanism is activated when the relative rotational angle is defined within the clearance.

摘要: A method of efficiently removing active oxy-hydrogens (e.g., existing as hetero element-containing functional groups such as COOH, CHO, and OH) present in a carbon material at a relative low temperature. The invention also provides a carbon-activating material adapted for use in a polarizable electrode typically used in an electrical double-layer capacitor. The method of removing residual active oxy-hydrogens in the carbon material starts with mixing the carbon material and a transition metal or a transition metal compound. The resulting mixture is thermally processed within a stream of a reducing gas. Preferably, the transition metal or transition metal compound is removed from the thermally processed mixture.
