Abstract:
A blood cell counter apparatus comprising: a detector for detecting blood cells in blood of a subject; and a controller for obtaining, based on a detection result by the detector, first analytical information about nucleated red blood cells in the blood, and second analytical information about granulocytes in the blood or third analytical information about platelets in the blood, and for outputting diagnosis support information for supporting prognosis of the subject, based on the first analytical information and on the second analytical information or the third analytical information that have been obtained. A method and computer program product are also disclosed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a copolymer containing: i) 80-90% by weight of one or more structural units of the formula A, where R1 is hydrogen or methyl, R2 is C2-C10-alkylene, and Me+ is an ammonium or an alkali metal ion; ii) from 1 to 10% by weight of one or more structural units of the formula B where R3 and R4 are each independently hydrogen, methyl or ethyl; iii) from 1 to 10% by weight of one or more structural units of the formula C, where n is a number from 1 to 6; iv) from 0.1 to 5% by weight of structural units of the formula D where X is hydrogen, an ammonium ion or an alkali metal ion; and optionally, v) from 0 to 10% by weight of one or more structural units of the formula E, where R5 is hydrogen, methyl and/or ethyl, with the proviso that the content in the copolymers of structural units B) and C) is from 6 to 15% by weight.
Abstract:
The tap safety cover conceals a rotating tap or the like to prevent a worker from contacting the sharp cutting edges of the tool during operation. The device includes a tool holder which secures in the chuck or bit holder of a rotary power tool. A hollow cylindrical barrel is affixed to the tool holder, with an extension sleeve telescoping from the barrel. The tap extends concentrically through the tool holder, barrel, and sleeve, and is completely covered when the sleeve is extended. A coil spring in the barrel urges the sleeve to a fully extended position, with the sleeve retracting as it is pushed back by the workpiece as the tap penetrates a previously drilled hole in the workpiece.

Abstract:
The ‘Simple-File’ is a new product for the filing system industry and was designed to assist the medical community in replacing large, bulky folders. The product incorporates a file folder and internal index tab dividers, preassembled with a double loop wire (wire-o) binding. The ‘Simple-File’ system allows the index tab dividers to easily turn, lie flat and open flat, functioning much like a book. The internal tab dividers are furnished with side or bottom tabs, printed on one or two sides. Each divider includes metal fasteners, heat-bonded to the front and/or back of the divider for easy insertion or removal of material. The number of dividers required per assembly can be customized to fit the filing system requirements.
Abstract:
An RFID transponder antenna has a carrier substrate and an auxiliary substrate. The carrier substrate is provided with a contact point for a first connection to an integrated circuit, and a first conductor path including at least two coil turns. A first end of the path forms a contact terminal for a second connection to the integrated circuit. The other end forms a connection point for an electrical connection to a second conductor path. The second path on the auxiliary substrate forms a bridge over the coil turns. The second conductor path has one end connected to the contact point, and another end connected to the connection point providing a permanent connection between the auxiliary substrate and/or the first conductor path, and the carrier substrate and/or second conductor path; the permanent connection being formed at least at one point lying between both ends of the auxiliary substrate.
Abstract:
A high-voltage connector component for a high-voltage cable comprises an insulator made of a polymer material which surrounds a cable end portion of the high-voltage cable, wherein the insulator is received in a housing and is made of an elastomer material, wherein the elastomer material is filled, cast or injected into the housing in order to form the insulator. The connector component is designed such that upon connection to a corresponding connector component a basically closed pressure chamber is formed between the housing, the corresponding connector component and the cable end portion, wherein the pressure chamber is basically provided for being completely occupied by the insulator. Loading the insulator with pressure results in a gap-free, high-voltage-sealed pressing of the corresponding connector component to the insulator, a gap-free, high-voltage-sealed pressing of the insulator to the housing, and a gap-free, high-voltage-sealed pressing of the insulator to the sheath surface of the cable end portion.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an assembly for a brake actuator which is provided, for example, for an electromechanically operated parking brake. The assembly comprises a drive device and a gear device for generating and transmitting a torque to a brake device, a carrier element having a first mounting device to which the drive device and the gear device are mechanically secured, and a housing having a housing lower portion which has a second mounting device, on which the carrier element together with the drive device and gear device is arranged in a self-supporting manner by means of the first mounting device.
