    摘要： Azacycloalkane derivatives of structural formula I are selective inhibitors of stearoyl-coenzyme A delta-9 desaturase (SCD1) relative to other known stearoyl-coenzyme A desaturases. The compounds of the present invention are useful for the prevention and treatment of conditions related to abnormal lipid synthesis and metabolism, including cardiovascular disease, such as atherosclerosis; obesity; diabetes; neurological disease; metabolic syndrome; insulin resistance; and liver steatosis.

    摘要： A bumper system includes a bumper beam having a face and ends, and an energy absorber mounted on the face. The energy absorber has a one-piece injection-molded non-foam piece with box sections and interconnecting straps, and a one-piece or multi-piece foam component securely insert-molded onto the injection-molded non-foam piece. Different foam molds can be used to form differently shaped front surfaces on the foam component. By this arrangement, different energy absorbing systems are provided for vehicles, such as to satisfy the need for different styling and shapes, while still using the same non-foam piece. By this arrangement, the energy absorber is a single unit that can be handled and attached to the bumper beam. At the same time, capital investment in molding dies and tooling is reduced.

    摘要： A pretreatment composition for treating a substrate to be subjected to forming a relief pattern thereon by exposure to actinic radiation, the pretreatment composition comprising: (a) at least one compound having Structure VI  wherein, V is selected from CH and N, Y is selected from O and NR3 wherein R3 is selected from H, CH3 and C2H5, R1 and R2 are each independently selected from H, a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C1-C4 alkoxy group, cyclopentyl and cyclohexyl, or alternatively, R1 and R2 can be fused to produce a substituted or unsubstituted benzene ring, with the proviso that the substituent is not an electron withdrawing group, (b) at least one organic solvent, and optionally, (c) at least one adhesion promoter; wherein the amount of the compound of Structure VI present in the composition effective to inhibit residue from forming when the photosensitive composition is coated on a substrate and the coated substrate is subsequently processed to form an image on the substrate. Processes for pretreatment of substrates and processes for forming relief images on pretreated substrates are disclosed.

    摘要： A rollable massaging device that simultaneously provides both hot and cold therapy is disclosed. The massaging device includes a first cylindrical container defining a first opening and a first longitudinal axis therethrough, and a second cylindrical container defining a second opening and a second longitudinal axis therethrough. The device includes a coupling that releasably and resealably engages said first and second opening. The first container is preferably filled with a hot liquid and the second container is preferably filled with a cold liquid, which are separated by a wall defined by the coupling. The outer surface of each container define any of a number of various surface profiles for massage therapy, such as a plurality of protusions, dimples, ridges, or ribs. In one alternative embodiment, the walls of the first and second containers may be adjustable in length to conform to the size of area to be massaged. In another embodiment, the first and second container also define first and second bottoms opposite the first and second openings to which the containers may be joined.
