Abstract: Techniques described provide dependent procedure operation configured for avoiding or mitigating one or more aspect of the impact on the dependent procedure of cancelling an uplink transmission. One or more attributes (e.g., a transmission indication attribute) associated with a cancelled uplink transmission may be designated for dependent procedure operation, such as for indicating whether the cancelled uplink transmission is considered either as having been transmitted or not having been transmitted. The one or more attributes associated with a cancelled uplink transmission designated for dependent procedure operation may be based upon whether the cancelling the first uplink transmission is a fast cancellation or is a slow cancellation. The designation of a transmission indication attribute for dependent procedure operation may correspond to the dependent procedure and/or its operation. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: A base station may configure a new demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) to indicate a skipped semi-persistent scheduled (SPS) physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) occasion to a user equipment (UE), and the UE may detect a discontinuous transmission (DTX) in the skipped SPS PDSCH occasion based on receiving the new DM-RS within the corresponding PDSCH occasion. The UE may detect that the corresponding PDSCH occasion is a skipped SPS PDSCH occasion by measuring the energy of the PDSCH signal symbols to detect that the PDSCH signal symbols do not include data signal. The UE may measure the DM-RS energy or detect the configuration of the DM-RS to determine that the second PDSCH does not include a PDSCH signal.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to wireless communication using channel state information (CSI) correlation information for determining the validity of a CSI report. A user equipment (UE) can determine the CSI correlation information based on reference signal resources scheduled for measuring CSI and interference on a channel between the UE and a network entity. In some aspects, the CSI correlation information can be determined based on channel correlation information and/or interference correlation information.

Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow a base station to segment a code block into individual code block segments and a UE to determine and indicate a quality of the individual code block segments in a CSI report to a base station. The base station transmits a code block to the UE which includes a plurality of code block segments. The UE determines a code block segment quality of each of the code block segments, and sends a CSI report including one or more of the code block segment qualities to the base station. Thus, the code block segment qualities indicated by the UE allow the base station to determine which segments of the code block should be re-transmitted, for example, based on a best RV to be applied for the code block retransmission, thereby improving retransmission performance.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may generate feedback messages according to a feedback codebook according to a feedback scheme indicating whether the UE is to include, or exclude, feedback information for physical downlink shared channels (PDSCHs) occurring prior to a bandwidth part (BWP) switch. For example, the UE may determine whether to include feedback information for any PDSCHs that occur prior to an uplink BWP switch for a UE that supports cell switching based on the cell in which the uplink BWP switch occurs, the cell in which the feedback message is scheduled for transmission (e.g., the same cell in which the PDSCHs occur, or a different cell), and a mode of PUCCH cell switching (e.g., dynamic or semi-static). The UE may also determine whether to send retransmissions of feedback information after a BWP switch.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) sends an indication supported combinations of sounding reference signal (SRS) resources, unsupported combinations of SRS resources, or compatible SRS resources to a base station. The base station selects one or more SRS resources for the UE from the SRS resources that are supported by the UE or are compatible for the UE. In some examples, the UE receives a configuration from the base station for multiple SRS resource sets. After configuring the UE with multiple SRS resource sets, the base station selects one of the SRS resources sets, and may indicate the selected SRS resource set to the UE. The UE transmits a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) to the base station using SRS resources from the selected SRS resource set.
